    A SUDDEN DEATHHerman Remter Departs Life WhileSitting in a ChairHerman Remter, aged 72 years, died quite suddenly about one o'clock Saturday afternoon having just finished his dinner. He was sittin g in his chair only a few moments before Mrs. Remter came back to find him on the floor where he apparently died without a struggle. He had eaten his dinner as usual and it is supposed he was stricke n with heart failure.Mr. and Mrs. Remter purchased the old McCarthy farm about 13 years ago moving there from a farm in Buchanan where they had lived for years. Mr. Remter was born in Germany. He se rved four years on a man-of-war in the German navy having nearly circled the globe in his travels while serving his country as a seaman.He settled in Ohio in 1855 and later moved to Oshkosh where he h elped build the Northern Hospital and afterwards moving to Buchanan.Surviving is his wife and the following children: Mrs. Fred J. Fink and Mrs. Robert Schubring, Kaukauna; Mrs. Albert Komrow, Freedo m; Herman, Jr., Freedom; Albert at home; Paul and Bertha of North Fond du Lac.The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Trinity Ev. Lutheran church, the Rev. William Hinnen thal officiating. Interment was at the Trinity cemetery.Last spring the deceased had a bad spell of feeling faint but he apparently entirely recovered and since then had been in good health.

    Elvera D. Scheibe of Appleton, age 94, passed into Jesus' loving arms peac efully on Thursday morning, March 17, 2005. Elvera was born in Freed om on April 16, 1910, daughter of the late Herman and Alma (Schubring) Rem ter. On October 21, 1927, she married Chester Scheibe at St. Peter Ev. Lut heran Church in Freedom; he preceded her in death on May 29, 1969, after f orty-one years of marriage. As a young woman, Elvera worked at Scolding Lo cks Company in Appleton, and was a longtime and faithful member of St. Pa ul Ev. Lutheran Church where she volunteered at the school hot lunch progr am and was also a thirty-five year member and a Past Officer of the Ladi es Aid. Many will remember her love for gardening and the special care s he gave to her African violets.
    Survivors include eight children: Floyd (Janice) Scheibe of Gillett; Euge ne (Lorraine) Scheibe of Menasha; Joyce Butterfield of Appleton; Harold (E unice) Scheibe of Appleton; Joan (Wayne) Strelow of Appleton; Daniel (Darl ene) Scheibe of Medina; Karen Scheibe of Appleton; and Timothy (Judy) Sche ibe of Appleton. She is further survived by 19 grandchildren: Mary (Ken) B uetow, Thomas (Kordi) Scheibe, Gregg (Cathy) Scheibe, Sandra Scheibe and h er fiance Ron Weyenberg, Lori (Joe) Friebel, Tami (Ronald) Schurer, Lisa ( George) DeBruin, Julie (Robert) Meltz, Diana (Scott) Rehmer, Brenda (Cha d) Schultz, Michael (Susan) Strelow, Brian (Jody) Strelow, William Strelo w, James Strelow, Mark Scheibe, Amy (David) Stern, Adam (Jen) Scheibe, Reb ecca (Josh) Salzman, and Jennifer (Eric) George; a granddaughter-in-law: B arbara Scheibe; 42 great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, a s ister-in-law: Ruth Remter of Appleton; as well as numerous nieces, nephe ws other relatives, and many friends.
    Elvera was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son-in-law, Ke nneth Butterfield, two grandsons: Floyd Scheibe, Jr. and John Scheibe, a s ister, Wilma TeVrucht, and brothers: Norbert, Gordon, Clarence, Lester, a nd Marlin.
    The Christian Funeral for Elvera will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 2 1, 2005 at ST. PAUL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 302 N. Morrison Street in Applet on with Rev. Kenneth Frey officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memor ial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 PM a nd again at the church on Monday from 10 AM until the hour of the servic e. A memorial fund in Elvera's name is being established.

She married Fred Lammers on August 24, 1943, sharing 47 years together before his death March 15, 1991. Prior to her marriage she worked at Paschen's in Kaukauna.

    June 8, 1922 - December 15, 2013 Harold Stuiber, passed away peacefully at home with his family at the age of 91 on December 15, 2013. Born on June 8, 1922 in Kaukauna, WI to Arnold and Linda Stuiber, Harold was the eldest of his three brothers, Ves, David and Ken Stuiber. At the age of 18, Harold moved to Pasadena, CA to pursue his love for theater, where he trained and worked at the Pasadena Playhouse. In 1944, he met the love of his life, Virginia Anderson, of Sandpoint, ID. Harold and Virginia were married in 1947 and made Altadena, CA their lifelong home, raising their son and daughter, until Virginia's passing in 2001. While starting his family and working full-time, Harold attended night classes at California State College, Los Angeles, where he earned a B.A. and M.A. in Economics, becoming the West Coast Sales Representative for Joshua L. Bailey & Co., Inc., a New York based selling agent for textile mills. He represented the Company through 1991, at which time he semi-retired. During his employment with Joshua Bailey & Company and beyond, he represented many of the existing and emerging West Coast based apparel manufacturers and country-wide textile manufacturers, whom he counted as loyal clients and friends until the time of his passing. Harold was an avid tennis player at the Altadena Town & Country Club where he was a member for 55 years and served as President of the Board of Directors. He enjoyed playing golf at the Altadena Golf Course and played weekly at Eaton Canyon Golf Course through his 90th birthday. In 2002, Harold became a hospice volunteer, enriching the lives of the patients he served with his sense of humor, passion for books and natural ability to treat all he met with exceptional respect, honesty and friendship. In 2010, Harold found love again in his marriage to Toni Ward of Altadena. Toni and Harold's remarkable devotion and love for one another and their extended families was truly inspirational. Harold is predeceased by his brothers, David Stuiber and Kenneth Stuiber. He is survived by his wife, Toni Ward Stuiber of Altadena, CA; his brother, Sylvester Stuiber, of Fond du Lac, WI; sister-in-law, Pat Brecha, of Altadena, CA; son, Chris Stuiber, and his wife, Sue Nolte Stuiber, of Santa Margarita, CA; daughter, Lisa Jaynes, and her husband, Peter Jaynes, of Altadena, CA; grandchildren, Nicole Stuiber Armstrong, Brittany Stuiber Tomlinson, Nick Shaw, Kevin Jaynes, Caroline Jaynes; and great-granddaughter, Savanna Tomlinson.     Sylvester A. Stuiber, 92 of Fond du Lac WI, passed away on August 23, 2016 while in hospice care at Brookdale Senior Living in Fond du Lac. Sylvester was born on December 18, 1923 in Kaukauna WI, the second of four sons, to Arnold and Linda (Finke) Stuiber.
    Sylvester grew up in Kaukauna with his three brothers Harold, David and Kenneth. In March 1943, Sylvester enlisted in the Army and joined the 292nd Combat Engineer Battalion. He served in Europe in the Battle of the Bulge as part of the Engineers Special Battalion, Amphibious Unit. After the end of the war, in March 1946, he was discharged and returned to Wisconsin.
    Using the GI Bill, Sylvester attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering. While at MSOE, he completed a certificate for Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning in September 1947 and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in March of 1950. Also while at MSOE, Sylvester met his future wife, Roselle Wifler.
    Sylvester and Roselle were married on April 15, 1950 in Roselle's hometown of Glenbeulah, WI. at St. Fridolin's Catholic Church. The couple lived for a few years in Plymouth WI where they had their first two sons, Mark (1/1951) and Chad (2/1952).
    In the mid 1950's, the family moved to Milwaukee where they welcomed their third son Terry (7/1955). At this time, Sylvester began working as an Electrical Engineer at Globe-Union Inc. While at Globe-Union, he received a patent with fellow engineer Roy Dilger for an electronic ignition system.
    In 1958, the family moved to Brown Deer, WI where they welcomed their fourth son, Kent (9/1960). Here Sylvester began working for Ozite Corp. where he worked as a Plant Engineer. While at Ozite, he was temporary assigned to South Africa for 6 months in the early 1970s to help setup a new carpet manufacturing facility.
    In 1975, the family moved to Fond du Lac, WI, where Sylvester began working for Sadoff Iron and Metal. Later, he took a position as Plant Engineer at the Galloway-West Company. Sylvester retired from Galloway-West in 1988. After retirement, Sylvester and Roselle maintained a home in Florida and traveled extensively.
    Sylvester is survived by his sons Mark and Kent, both residing in Fond du Lac, WI.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Roselle, his sons Chad and Terry and his brothers Harold of Altadena
    Visitation: The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 8:30 until 9:45 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac.
    Service: At 10:00 AM on Friday, September 2, 2016, a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Taycheedah. There will be refreshments at church following the burial.

    Verhagen, Eileen Bertha, age 78, of Manawa, went peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, July 12, 2007. Eileen was born on December 8, 1928, in Appleton, daughter of the late Arthur & Ella (Hameister) Kumrow. Eileen worked for Elm Tree in Appleton for many years. She enjoyed numerous things from dancing to baking and spending time with her family. On December 30, 1953, she married William Verhagen. They shared 52 years together. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2006. Eileen and Bill opened the family bakery, "Verhagen's Bakery" in Hortonville in 1970 which they owned and operated for 10 years. They moved to Manawa in 1989.
    She is survived by her children: a special daughter, Cheryl, at home; Jim (Jill) Verhagen, New London; Lynn (Al) Eberly, Royalton; Steve (Cathy) Verhagen, Appleton; Sandy (Bryant) Tapio, New London; John (Emberly) Verhagen, Appleton and Bill Verhagen Jr. and special friend Jessica, Manawa; grandchildren: Selina, Heather and Emily Verhagen, Paul Christian, Nicole and Dan Verhagen, Jason (Tia) Tapio and Jennifer Dack and Madison Verhagen; great-grandchildren: Calvin Spear, Maria Ulrich, Dylun Tapio and Arielle Verhagen. Eileen is further survived by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, also a niece Helen Kumrow and her special friend Nubbs Holewinski.
    Besides her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband and a grandson Bill Christian and also numerous aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters.
    The funeral service for Eileen will be held on Monday, July 16, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa with Rev. Paul Vanden Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

    Bruce Lee Schubring, 69, of Kaukauna passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Appleton Medical Center.
    Bruce was born on August 11, 1943 to Ruben and Hilda (McBain) Schubring. He married Janis Ann Conrad on November 1, 1969 in Kaukauna. Bruce served in the Air Force from 1961 until 1965 and was stationed at Great Falls, MT and Thule Air Force Base in Greenland. Bruce worked at the Institute of Paper Chemistry from 1965 until 1989 and then he worked for John and Mary Strange until his retirement in 2002. He was a lifelong member of Peace United Methodist Church and was a Sunday School teacher, head usher, youth fellowship leader, and a trustee of the Church. His interests included gardening, fishing, camping in the north woods, working on projects in his shop, cooking over the campfire, and making homemade ice cream and sourdough pancakes. Bruce worked with the Boy Scouts and helped with the Girl Scouts as his children traveled through their Scouting years helping them achieve Eagle Scout and Silver Award.
    Bruce is survived by his wife, Janis, a daughter Julie, son Adam and fiancé Roberta "Byrds" Kirchner, adopted daughters: Michelle and Eric Kielhorn and their children, Joshua, Faith, and Christian of Oakdale, CT, and Marissa and Dirk Shier and their daughter Madelyn of Kaukauna, brothers; Robert (Elaine) Schubring, Kaukauna, Gerald Schubring, Des Plaines, IL, a sister Ronell (Glenn) Behnke of Appleton, a brother-in-law, Michael (Sharon) Conrad, Kaukauna, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends across the country.
    Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Leo and Gladys Conrad, sister-in-law Kathleen Conrad, a niece, Margaret Schubring and aunts, uncles and grandparents.
    A memorial service for Bruce will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at PEACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2300 Wisconsin Ave. Kaukauna at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lucretia Fehrmann officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. The family would like to thank the Kaukauna Fire and Rescue, and Police Department for their help and the staff at Appleton Medical Center for your help during Bruce's recent stay; as well as the Emergency room staff for your help and kindness and to Pastor Lucretia Fehrmann for being there with us. In lieu of flowers a memorial scholarship is being established in Bruce's name.

    Larry M. Schubring, age 68, loving husband, father and grandfather died suddenly May 2, 2011, at home. He was born October 18, 1942, in Appleton the son of the late Orville and Mildred (Wenzel) Schubring. A 1960 graduate of Kaukauna High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served as a naval corpsman for three years. After an honorable discharge, he worked as a boring bar operator at Giddings & Lewis - Bickford Machine Tool Co. in Kaukauna for 22 years and then at KimTech in Neenah for 19 years before retiring in 2003. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Kaukauna, and a member of American Legion Post 41. A St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Green Bay Packers football fan, he enjoyed woodworking, watching "CSI" and "Law and Order" on TV and playing games on the computer.
    He is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years: Joyce (Hackbert) Schubring; two daughters and sons-in-law: Stephanie and Aaron Bloy of Peachtree City, Georgia, and Susan and Phillip Hau of Combined Locks; two granddaughters: Elizabeth and Olivia Bloy; a brother: Allan Schubring of Kaukauna; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marion and Carl Wenzel; as well as other relatives and friends, especially his church "family."
    The Christian Funeral for Larry will be held at 11 a.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 804 Grignon Street in Kaukauna, on Saturday, May 7, 2011, with the Rev. Timothy Wilkens officiating. Complete military honors will follow, and burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.     Allan Schubring, age 70, of Kaukauna, passed away at Appleton Medical Center after a brief illness on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. He was born on April 1, 1944, in Appleton, the son of the late Orville and Mildred (Wenzel) Schubring. Allan was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Kaukauna. For those that knew him, he was a strong man. Through all the challenges that he has faced through life, he conquered them all. He lived his life without complaint, and had a smile for everyone always. He loved hot weather - the hotter the better. One of his greatest joys was sitting in the sun. Another great joy of his was his family and friends; there was no lack of conversation, and always good humor.
    Allan is survived by his sister-in-law, Joyce Schubring; nieces: Stephanie (Arran) Bloy and their children Olivia and Elizabeth Bloy and Susan (Phil) Hau; dear friends: Barb (Tom) Dorn, Eric (Annette) Beach, Tina Beach and Angela Beach.

    Donald A Remter, 82, of Appleton entered into eternal life Saturday October 22, 2016. He was born November 29, 1933 to Gordon and Esther (Luebke) Remter Sr. He was united in marriage with Gladys Sachs in Texas on September 20, 1957.
    Donald enjoyed traveling, tinkering with computers, and family games like dice, cards and dominoes. In his younger days he enjoyed bowling and darts. Donald was a devoted Christian who loved working with the church. He was always bringing a smile to everyone's face and was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. He served in the Army in Germany from 1957-1959. After retirement he moved with his wife to Yuma, AZ until they returned home to be with their family.
    Donald is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Gladys Remter, his parents Gordon Sr. and Esther Remter, a brother Gordon Remter Jr., Gladys' parents Harvey and Mary Sachs, son-in-law Rueben Olmsted and niece Debra Schmidt.
    He is survived by his six children: Debra Olmsted, Marshfield; Russell (Linda) Remter, Neenah; Mary (Roudy) Malliet, Little Chute; Doreen (Jeff) Westrick, Waterford; Robert/Scar (Julie) Remter, Appleton and Brenda (Scott) Kuba, Englewood, Fl.     Appleton - Shirley Misco-Kelder, Age 85, Appleton, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 after a short illness. She was born in Black Creek, on December 22, 1932, the daughter of Lester Remter and Isabelle (Scharmann) Remter-Lemmens. She was united in marriage to Robert Misco on February 24, 1951. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1962. She was united in marriage on July 17, 1965 to Theodorus (Ted) Kelder. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2009. For over 40 years Shirley ran a children's daycare in her home. She loved spending time with all of the children. One of her greatest disappointments was when she was no longer physically able to provide childcare. However, many of those same children returned to visit her in their adult years. Shirley was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
    Shirley is survived by sons: Randall Misco and Frank Kelder (friend Diane); daughters: Patricia Misco and Robin (Roger) Gustafson; daughter-in-law: Jody Kelder; grandchildren: Robert, Michael, and Benjamin Ruwoldt, Chad Gustafson, Ian Misco, Lea, Casey and Tiffany Kelder, Amanda Misco and Jessie Jacobs-Brown; great-grandchildren: Dominic, Jacqueline, Stefan, Devan, Chase, Luke, Jordan and Z'ev. She is further survived by a brother: Jerry Lemmens; sister-in-law: Doris (Louis) Flauger; as well as many other relatives, friends and the many, many children who she lovingly spent her days with in her home daycare.
    In addition to her husbands, Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Carol Walczak; foster daughter: Debbie Jacobs; brothers: Vernal, Lloyd, and Lester Remter; sisters-in-law: Audrey and Mary Remter; and a dear friend: Georgia Timm.
    A Funeral Mass for Shirley will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, February 16, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton, with Father Jim Leary officiating. A visitation for Shirley will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service on Friday at the church.
    The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses at Affinity Visiting Nurses Hospice and the staff at Ascension Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh for the wonderful support given to the family at this difficult time.

    Floyd C. Scheibe, age 84 of Gillett, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Woodland Village of Gillett. Floyd was born to the late Chester and Elvera (Remter) Scheibe on April 30, 1928 in Appleton. On September 4, 1948 he married Janice Howe. Floyd worked for several years at Kimberly Clark which would eventually become Midtech, until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed his Wednesday gatherings with Underhill senior friends.
    He is survived by his loving wife, Janice, his children; Mary (Ken) Buetow and Tom (Kordi) Scheibe, seven grandchildren; John II, James, Justin, Jessie, Tina, Tanya and Brienne and seven great grandchildren. Floyd is further survived by his brothers and sisters; Joyce Butterfield, Harold (Eunice) Scheibe, Joan (Wayne) Strelow, Danny (Darlene) Scheibe, Karen Scheibe and Tim (Judy) Scheibe as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Floyd is preceded in death by, his infant son Floyd and son John. Also preceding him in death are his brother Eugene Scheibe, brother in law Ken Butterfield, and great granddaughters Olive Jean and Violet Lynn.
    The funeral service for Floyd will be held at 12:00PM, Monday, December 24, 2012, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton with Pastor Mike Paholke officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park immediately following the service.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

    Eugene H. "Gene" Scheibe, age 80, passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at his home in Menasha. He was born on March 19, 1931, in Appleton; son of the late Chester and Elvera (Remter) Scheibe. On August 27, 1955, he was united in marriage to Lorraine Brockman. Gene honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and earned the rank of sergeant. He worked with the George Banta Company for 37 years, retiring from there in 1991.
    He was a lifetime member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Appleton. Gene enjoyed woodworking, gardening and took great pride in caring for his property. He always maintained his quick wit throughout his life and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
    He will be deeply missed by his wife of 55 years, Lorraine Scheibe; children, Gregg (Cathy) Scheibe, Sandy (Ron Weyenberg) Scheibe and Lori (Joe) Friebel; grandchildren, Chad (Sara) Scheibe, Chris (Dale) Daemmrich, Scott, Brian and Alex Friebel; great-grandchildren, Emily, Calli and Logan; brothers and sisters, Floyd (Janice) Scheibe, Joyce Butterfield, Harold (Eunice) Scheibe, Joan (Wayne) Strelow, Dan (Darlene) Scheibe, Karen Scheibe and Tim (Judy) Scheibe; sister-in-law, Eunice Brockman; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

    Scheibe, Harold Harold, age 81, our beloved husband and father, is now with the Lord. He passed away Monday morning, June 22, at his home in Appleton, with his wife and daughter Diana at his side.
    Harold was born July 2, 1933 in Appleton, son of the late Chester and Elvera (Remter) Scheibe. He is a graduate of Appleton West High School, Class of 1951. Harold served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict with the 49th Engineering Company. On May 4, 1957, Harold married Eunice Wendt. He and Eunice were blessed with 58 years together. In 1994, Harold retired from Miller Electric Manufacturing, after 44 years of employment. For several years after retiring, he served the community at the Appleton YMCA in the men's fitness department.
    Harold is survived by his loving wife, Eunice; three daughters, Julie (Robert) Meltz, Diana (Scott) Rehmer, and Brenda (Chad) Schultz; and 12 grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers, Daniel (Darlene), and Timothy (Judy); three sisters, Joyce Butterfield, Joan (Wayne) Strelow, and Karen Scheibe; sisters-in-law, Janice Scheibe, and Lorraine Scheibe. Harold was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary Meltz; two brothers, Floyd and Eugene; and brother-in-law, Ken Butterfield.
    Eunice and Diana would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Theda Care Hospice team for their generous care and support.
    Those who knew Harold will remember him for his unlimited kindness and willingness to give of himself to help others.

    Richard A. Remter, 51, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
    Richard was born on August 28, 1962, in Appleton, the son of Gerald and Carole (Coffey) Remter. Richard enjoyed riding snowmobiles and taking road trips. One of his favorite destinations was Wisconsin Dells.
    Richard is survived by his two daughters: Stephanie (Joseph) Giotto and Danielle Remter; his parents; four siblings: Geraldine (Dan) Cowling, Tina (Allen) Beschta, Patti DeWall (Sonny Kettner), and Jeremy Remter (Sarah Forler); two grandchildren: Isabella Remter and Chase Giotto; and his longtime girlfriend: Janice Derks. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews as well as numerous extended family.
    A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Valley Funeral Home, from 4-6 PM.

    Winchester - Lori Lea Friebel passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the age of 55. Lori was born on February 6, 1963 to Eugene and Lorraine (Brockman) Scheibe in Appleton, Wisconsin. She graduated from Kimberly High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart Joseph "Joe" Friebel on June 22, 1985. Lori's passion in life was spending time with Joe and their three sons. She enjoyed camping, fishing, tending her flowerbeds, gardening and playing games with family and friends. She also loved spending time with her pets and crocheting for Project Linus. Lori was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Menasha.
    Lori is lovingly survived by her husband, Joe and her three sons, Scott Friebel and his fiancée Monica Kasuboski, Brian Friebel and Alex Friebel, her mother, Lorraine Scheibe, a brother, Gregg Scheibe and Carrie Kearn, a sister, Sandy Scheibe and Ron Weyenberg, her mother and father-in-law, Vernon and Rosemary (Nussbaum) Friebel, three brothers-in-law, John (Barb) Friebel, James (Sharon) Friebel and David (Sjanny) Friebel and a sister-in-law, Ann (Steve) Bauer and by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and very special friends. Lori was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Scheibe, a sister-in-law, Cathy Scheibe and a brother-in-law, Mark Friebel.
    A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 Broad Street Menasha with the Rev. Steven S. Billings officiating. Lori's family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. A memorial fund is being established in Lori's name.
    Lori's family would like to extend a special thank you to FVHO and Dr. Timothy Goggins and his medical staff for all the compassion and love they rendered unto Lori and her family.
