    Lashua, Virginia A. "Ginny"
    Ginny Lashua, 57, formerly of Neenah, died Friday, August 28, 2009, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Ginny was born April 13, 1952, in Appleton, daughter of Frank and Elaine (De Bruin) Killian. She graduated from St. Mary Central High School in 1970, and on July 25, 1975, Ginny married Duane "Dewey" Lashua. They recently celebrated 34 years of marriage. Ginny was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Ginny will be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, and a fun-loving sister.
    Ginny is survived by her husband, Dewey; sons: Chad (Lori) Lashua, Tomahawk; Nicholas (Nicole) Lashua, Little Chute; daughters: Becky (Collin) Behm, Neenah; Amy Lashua, Wausau; grandchildren: Maggie and Christian Lashua; her mother, Elaine Killian, Neenah; brothers: Mike (Linda) Killian, MI; Pat (Suzanne) Killian, Niagara, WI; a sister, Sue (Craig) Kuske, MN; many nieces and nephews.
    Ginny was preceded in death by her father, Frank Killian; a granddaughter, Abagail Lashua.
    Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2009, at St. Margaret Mary Church, 620 Division Street, Neenah, with Rev. Michael L. Ingold officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
    Special thanks to Ginny's sister-in-law, Diane Lashua and ThedaCare at Home Hospice for their constant and loving care for Ginny.
