    Mrs. J. Leahy Dies After Long Illness
    Mrs. John Leahy, 87, passed away in her home in the town of Chilton at 11 o'clock, Tuesday, forenoon, April 20. She had been confined to her bed since the first of October, suffering from the infirmities of old age and contracted pneumonia during the past week.
    Mrs. Leahy was the former Catherine Doyle, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Doyle, late of Calumet County. She was born at Kinsman, Ohio, May 10, 1850, and when she was five years old came with her parents to the town of Chilton where she has since resided. On Nov. 19, 1871, she was married to John Leahy of the town of Chilton. The marriage ceremony took place at St. Augustine church in this city. She and her husband located on their farm, known as the Leahy homestead, in the town of Chilton.
    She is survived by two sons, David and Cornelius, and one daughter, Margaret, all at home, and two brothers, Edward Doyle of Wrightstown and Dr. Joseph Doyle of Little Chute. She and her brothers were the last survivors of a family of twelve children.
    The funeral will be held from St. Augustine church Friday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Augustine cemetery. Mrs. Leahy was a member of the Christian Mothers' Society and was held in high esteem in this community.
    The body will be held at the Pfeffer Funeral Home until Friday Morning.

    According to note accompanying the obit and picture of Anna Doyle Leahy, she was christened Anna after her mother; she was never given the name Catherine as either a first or a middle name. The author of the note called the misnaming an "egregious" error

    Another note says there were three sets of twins born to Anna Doyle Leahy's parents. The note also says there were fourteen children in all.
