    Obituary:
    Charles F. "Chuck" Kilawee, formerly of Kaukauna, age 81, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010, at the King Veterans Home. He was born January 2, 1929, in Park Falls, WI, son of the late Patrick H. and Teresa (Schwin) Kilawee. Chuck served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone and Newfoundland. Chuck retired from Badger Northland/Massey Fergussen, where he had served as a foreman. Chuck spent a lot of time at "the lodge" that he and his hunting buddies had built. He liked hunting, fishing and just spending time in nature. Chucked looked forward to family reunions and spending time with his nephews and nieces. He was a member of the Countryside Golf Club.
    Surviving Chuck are his siblings: Margaret M. Kilawee, Baileys Harbor; Della Milbach, Sturgeon Bay; Frank Kilawee, Andover, ME; Vicky Sullivan, Kaukauna; and Richard and Pat Kilawee, Amherst, WI. He is further survived by many special nieces and nephews, and special friends: Larry and Jane Hubene and Ralph Verbockel.
    Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Fr. Yvo Kilawee, OCSO, Sister Marie Teresa Kilawee, OSF, Patricia (Dean) Ekstrom, Martin Kilawee, Joseph Kilawee; brothers-in-law: William Milbach and Clarence Sullivan.
    Mass of Christian Burial for Chuck will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Full military rites will take place immediately following services at the Parish Cemetery. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. (920-766-2099)
