    Back From Funeral of Relative, Mrs. John Allwardt Summoned Returning from Sheboygan, where she attend (sic) the funeral of her sister-in-law, Mrs. John Rambadt, Mrs. John Allwardt suffered a stroke last Wednesday evening, and sank rapidly until her death, which occurred this morning at five o'clock, at the family home, 1125 South Ninth street. Burial will take place Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the home, and at two o'clock from the German Reform church with interment at Evergreen. Although the deceased has not been in the best of health for the past few weeks, she had been able to be up and about until last Wednesday. She was 48 years of age, having been born in the town of Newton in 1880, her maiden name being Emma Rembadt (sic). She was married to John Allwardt August 23, 1900 who with two children, a daughter Edna and son Lester, survive. Three sisters, Mrs. Sophie Waak, Mrs. Mary Rosso, and Mrs. William Ave, all of the town of Newton and two brothers, John Rembadt of Sheboygan and Carl of Liberty, survive. The deceased was a member of the Ladies Aid society and the Mission society of the German Reform church.
