Obituary:
Eleanor Baldeschwiler, 89, of Thorp, Wis., died Oct. 15, 2005, at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley, Wis.
Mrs. Baldeschwiler was born May 29, 1916, in Mendota, to Leo and Julia (Prangenberg) Sondgeroth.
She married Raymond Baldeschwiler on Jan. 12, 1938, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Peterstown. He preceded her in death in 1992.
Survivors include five children, Leo( Gloria) Baldeschwiler of Union Grove, Wis., Marge (Mike) Harrington of Napa, Calif., Gordon (Gerry) Baldeschwiler of Kirkland, Wash., Jean (Eric) Harrington of Seattle, Wash., and Janet (Robert) Lesnieski of Eau Claire, Wis.; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters, Wayne (Mary) Sondgeroth of Thorp, Wis., Delbert (Josephine) Sondgeroth of Ottawa, Leon (Irene) Sondgeroth, Paul (Yvonne) Sondgeroth and Margaret (Paul) Joerger, all of Mendota, Sister Dorothea Sondgeroth of Jackson, Miss., Helen (Stan) Sawalski of Eau Claire, Wis., Elaine (Robert) Richter of Watertown, Wis., and Roland (Wilma) Sondgeroth of Plano; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one sister, Adele Stack.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 19 at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp with Rev. Keith Apfelbeck officiating. Burial was at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Thorp.

Eleanor married Baldeschwiler, Raymond 12 Jan 1938. Raymond (son of Baldeschwiler, Anton and Pritzl, Minnie) was born 16 May 1913, Brillion, Calumet, Wisconsin, USA; died 16 Feb 1992, Thorp, Clark, Wisconsin, USA; was buried , St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery, Thorp, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]
