    Obituary:
    Gerald H. Bolwerk, Appleton, 78, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012, surrounded by his family. He was born August 15, 1934 in Combined Locks, WI, to the late Martin and Adrianna Bolwerk.
    Jerry graduated from Kimberly High in 1953. He worked at Appleton Coated Paper, Combined Locks for 45 years. He married Carmen F. Rohm on May 3, 1955. He was a member of Valley Baptist Church in Appleton. Jerry was an avid golfer and bowler. He made his first hole in one at the age of 75. His passion for sports carried over to his teaching, coaching and cheering of his children and grandchildren. He was a "jack of all trades" and always willing to lend a hand.
    Jerry is survived by his wife, Carmen Rohm, along with his six children: Tom (Mary), Tim (Mary), Marsha (John Hielsberg), Curt (Julie), Cal (Jackie), and Gregg (Sue). Fifteen grandchildren: Amanda, Jennifer; Peter, Nathan, Ben; Sara (Esser), Lisa (Hanagan); Josh, Lindsey, Sam; Bailey, Jacob; Heather, Brooke, Ryleigh. Two great grandchildren: Marissa, Jackson (Esser). Brothers: Ted, Clair (Nancy), Joe, Roger. Sisters: Mary Jo (Vern) Lamers, Julie (Bill) Van Hout. Sisters-in-law: Ginny Bolwerk, Leah Bolwerk, Verda Maynard, Lori (Jim) Krueger. Brothers-in-law: Dean (Darlene) Rohm, Dale (Mary) Rohm. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Grant and Doris Rohm; brothers, Willie, Jim; sisters-in-law, Fran, Judy, Mary Bolwerk; and a
    Brother-in-law, Melvin Maynard.
    Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday October 19, 2012 at VALLEY BAPTIST CHURCH, 3600 N Chippewa St, Appleton with Rev. Larry Creamer officiating. A visitation will be held Thursday evening at Valley Baptist Church from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday morning beginning at 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
    Dad, you fought a long hard battle. Your strength and love will carry us through. Wait for us; we'll be with you again someday.
