Obituary:
Ruth G. Sedo, age 93, of Appleton, was called by God to Heaven on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, following a stroke. She was born December 7, 1916, in the Town of Ellington, daughter of the late Fred and Ellen (Pingle) Ort. She was united in marriage to Wilbert W. Sedo on April 16, 1941. They farmed in the Town of Black Creek until 1965. They continued living on the farm, where Wilbert grew up, until moving to Appleton in 2002.
Ruth was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Center. She was a life-time member of the Appleton Medical Center Auxiliary.
Ruth is survived by her children: Bonnie (Allen) Treml, Black Creek and Donald (Betty) Sedo, Clintonville; her grandchildren: Mike Beyer, Chicago, IL; Keith (Anne) Beyer, LaCrosse; Angela (Jonathan) Gonzalez, North Hollywood, CA; Matthew Treml (special friend, Erin), Neenah; Christopher Treml (special friend, Jenny), Madison; Ryan Treml, Black Creek; Rob (Becky) Griesbach, Manawa; Scott (Dani) Griesbach, Utah; her great-grandchildren: Leah and Grace Beyer; Caleb and Joshua Griesbach; Olivia, Samantha and Elisabeth Griesbach; a son-in-law, James Beyer, Florida; a sister-in-law, Ethel Moehring, Appleton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert in August 2006 and a daughter, Sharon Lynn Beyer in November 2007; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Edward (Irene) Ort, Harold (Bernice) Ort, John (Vera) Ort, Raymond (Lillian) Ort: and seven sisters and brothers-in-law: Marie (Emil) Jentz, Lucille (Walter) Klitzke, Vera (James) Cusumano, Bernice (Howard) Wunderlich, Helen (Harry) Wendt, Gladys (Leo) Puls, Jeanette (Harvey) Marcks.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, March 8, 2010, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Center with the Reverends Jeffrey Suhr and Micah Martin officiating.
