Obituary:
Janet M. Lindner, 70, Green Bay, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born May 27, 1939, to the late Albert and Mayme (Judd) Wahl in Green Bay. On Nov. 23, 1968, she married Alvin W. Lindner, Jr.; he preceded her in death April 23, 1992.
Janet was a graduate of Green Bay West High School in 1957 and had been a secretary at Kennedy Elementary School, retiring in 2007. She was a member of International Order of Job's Daughters, Bethel 32. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and had a very strong faith. Janet enjoyed preparing holiday dinners, her trips up north to Minocqua, reading and the companionship of her dogs, Brandon, Shadow and Angel. She had a contagious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ann (Rodney) Ehrhardt, Green Bay and their children, Rodney III and Chelsea; three sons, Daniel (Mary) Lindner, Wayne (Grace) Lindner, and Al (Kathy) Lindner, all of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Christine, Corey, Jessica, Emily, Scott, Sara, Ryan, Jamie and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Steven and Andrew; and her nieces, Sharon (Gerald) Seufert and Vicki (James) Struve.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Gwen (Charles) Grant.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 341 Wilson Avenue, where the funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Diane Rew officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Janet's name.
