    Obituary:
    Erma Klein, Hortonville, 102, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010. Erma was born on April 21, 1908, in Medina, the daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Lemke) Kolgen. On June 11, 1930, she married Sherman Klein at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Dale. Her husband preceded her in death on August 15, 1982. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Dale for most of her life. Since 1999, she has been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Greenville. Erma worked on the family farm along with her with her husband. She belonged to the Jolly Workers Homemakers Club for 60 plus years. She bowled on the Koffee Klutchers bowling League at Hortonville and the Senior Citizens League in New London for many years. She spent many hours, cooking, playing cards, putting puzzles together, reading and most of all reciting poetry.
    Survivors include one daughter and son in-law, Cordell and William Schroeder, Dale; a son and daughter in-law, Kenneth and Yvonne Klein, Greenville. Seven grandchildren, Keith and Julie Schroeder, Julie (Peters) Schroeder, Kurt and Jean Schroeder, Todd and Jessica Schroeder, Kevin and Cindy Klein, Steven and Gretchen Klein, and Lori and Michael Shebilske. She is further survived by twenty great-grandchildren, Rebecca (Caleb) Bentz, Sara (Tim) Leintz, Michael Schroeder, Brett and Bryce Peters, Andrew, Lucas and Joshua Schroeder, Kayla and Colton Schroeder, Brittany, Heather and Cassandra Klein, AJ, Davis, Gracie and Jake Klein, Ashley, Jason and Jacob Shebilske; and also nieces, nephews, and friends.
    She is preceded in death by her husband, Sherman; two brothers, Harvey and Raymond; four sisters, Lylas, Elnora, Mable and Ruby; brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, and her granddaughters former husband, Jerry Peters.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pastor Scharf and Pastor Heckendorf, the staff at St. Joseph Residence, Hospice, family and friends for all your support and concern for Erma.
    Funeral services for Erma will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, (W7265 School Road), Greenville, with the Rev. David Scharf and the Rev. Joel Heckendorf officiating. Visitation will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Chapel, Greenville on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m., and also at the church on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Dale Union Cemetery.
