    Stephensville - Alvin "Tex" Griesbach, age 85, entered into eternal life on March 4, 2018. He was born July 28, 1932 to the late Edward and Viola (Beschta) Griesbach. In 1961, he was married to Charlotte Becker; they shared fifty-seven years of beloved marriage. The couple resided in Stephensville, Wisconsin for fifty-seven years, often traveling to their cabin in Minocqua. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #139 for thirty years, as well as a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Stephensville.
    Alvin is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Peggy (Chad) Block, Shawano; Sherrie (Tony) Verhagen, Hortonville; grandchildren: Holly (Jack) Calandros; Thomas Hofacker Jr.; Cody (Sienna) Verhagen; Kaylee Verhagen; great-grandchildren, Chloe; Jaxon; Madison; Lincoln; Leonardo; Camden; two brothers, Edward Jr. (Barbara); Lenny; three sisters, Martha (Robert) Lehrer; Marion (Bill) Howard; Lou (Richard) Gordee and sister-in-law, Donna Griesbach. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sons, Thomas and Robert and a brother Pat Griesbach.
    Funeral Mass for Alvin will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Stephensville with Fr. Richard Allen and Deacon Ken Bilgrien co-officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
    A special thanks to Heartland visiting nurses and Ellington first responders, for their care and concern of Alvin.

    Patrick Sebastian Griesbach, age 82, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at The Bridges of Appleton. Pat was born on July 18, 1934 in the Town of Ellington, to the late Edward and Viola (Beschta) Griesbach. He was united in marriage to Donna Bornemann on July 20, 1963 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. Pat graduated from Hortonville High School in 1952 and joined the U.S. Army for 2 years. After returning from the service, he attended Barber School. Pat went on to work for Wisconsin Bell and retired after 32 years of service. He loved taking care of his yard, but especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Pat was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Stephensville.
    Pat is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna; children, Brenda (Alan) Hilgendorf and Cheryl Griesbach; grandchildren, Kyle and Alyssa Hilgendorf and Blake and Nick Lofy and siblings, Alvin (Patty) Griesbach, Marty (Bob) Lehrer, Marion (Bill) Howard, Lou (Dick) Gordee and Lenny Griesbach. Pat is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
    Pat was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edward and Mabel Bornemann.
    The funeral for Pat will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Stephensville. Father Richard Allen and Deacon Ken Bilgrien will be officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at Borchardt Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville and also from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church Friday. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
    "We will never forget you. We will love you forever! Rest in peace Pat, Dad and Grandpa."

    Hortonville - Leonard "Lenny" Robert Griesbach, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 20, 2018 at his residence in Hortonville. Lenny was born on December 31, 1950 to the late Edward and Viola (Beschta) Griesbach in Appleton. He was united in marriage to Sherry Flunker on March 16, 1974. Lenny lived and worked on the family farm in the Town of Ellington his entire life. It was a great honor for him to continue the farming tradition that his parents began. In 1991 he began working in construction and was a member of Local 139 Operating Engineers. Lenny was very proud of his kids and granddaughters and spending time with them was his greatest joy! He was an avid Packer fan, enjoyed fishing, bird watching and also proudly served his country in the US Army.
    Lenny is survived by his daughters, Karra (Scott) Schabo, Hortonville and Lori (Chad) Probst, Appleton; his sons, Travis Griesbach, Appleton and Pat (special friend Jill Sommers) Griesbach, Grand Chute; siblings, Marty (Bob) Lehrer, Neenah, Marion (Bill) Howard, Indiana, Eddie (Barb) Griesbach, Hortonville and Lou (Dick) Gordee, Hortonville; granddaughters, Taylor and Morgan Schabo and Nora, Celia and Audra Probst; sisters-in-law, Patty Griesbach, Hortonville and Donna Griesbach, Greenville. Lenny is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
    Lenny was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Alvin "Tex" and Pat Griesbach.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Stephensville. Fr. Richard Allen and Deacon Ken Bilgrien will be officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with full military honors.

    Earl F. "Butch" Hoffman, 61, Appleton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at Cherry Meadows following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Father's Day, June 19, 1949, to the late John and Alice (Beschta) Hoffman in Appleton. Earl married Carol Schmit at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton, on June 21, 1969.
    He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a cook in Fort Polk, La. Earl was employed by Rich Products for over 30 years and then Hillshire Farm Sara Lee, retiring in 2010. He loved traveling, woodworking, the Packers, playing cards and visiting with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
    Earl is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Julie Zehren and Lisa (Isaac) Rades; grandchildren, Holly and Robbie Zehren and Jayla Rades; sister, Louise (Tom) Stephani. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, Shirley (Bruce) Stevens, Elaine (Larry) Stevens, Marilyn (Frank) Dombrowski and Esther (Marty) Schumacher; brother-in-law, Steve (Jane) Schmit; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
    A Mass of Celebration for Earl will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at St. Edward Catholic Church, Mackville, with the Rev. Tom Farrell officiating. Interment will follow the Mass in the Parish Cemetery with Military Honors. Friends may visit the family on Monday at church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass.
    The family would like to thank Fr. Mark and Fr. Tom and the many friends and family for all their prayers. Also, thanks to Dr. Ray and Dr. Mortara and their staffs, the first responders and the wonderful caring staff at Cherry Meadows who made difficult days bearable.
