    Marie V. Perl, 85, formerly of St. Anna, WI, died Tuesday morning, November 9, 2010. She was the former Marie V. Propson, born March 15, 1925, daughter of the late Joseph & Apolonia (Joas) Propson. On August 28, 1947, she married Elmer J. Perl at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Kloten. Elmer preceded her in death on April 28, 2005.
    Survivors include her five children: Carolyn (Jim) Wier, Bob (Stephanie) Perl, Frank Perl, Rosalie (Ira) Greene, Chris (Larry) Arenz, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Norbert (Rosie) Propson, Chilton, Gordon (June) Propson, New Holstein, one sister, Stella Gerner, Brothertown, one sister-in-law, Marcella Perl, one brother-in-law, Harold (Hazel) Heiner, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence (Margaret) Propson, one sister, Esther Heiner and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Sylvester Gerner, Jerome (LaVerne) Perl and Roger Perl.

    Norbert Gregor Propson, age 85, of Chilton passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012, after a short illness. He was born in Kloten on January 27, 1927 to Appolonia (Joas) and Joseph R. Propson. He was a 1944 graduate of Chilton High School. He served his country in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955 stationed in Germany. He also served as Register of Deeds for Calumet County for many years. Norb was a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Chilton for 35 years, retiring in 1990. On October 26, 1957 he married Rosemary Halbach at Sacred Heart Church in Sherwood. Together they raised seven beautiful children. In his younger years, Norb was an avid bowler. He also enjoyed listening to Polka music and following the Packers and Brewers. Norb enjoyed reading and watching his favorite TV shows, but most of all he enjoyed visits with his family. He was a life-long member of Good Shepherd Parish where he served on the parish council and as a Eucharistic Minister. He was a 66-year member of the Knights of Columbus. Norb is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rose, and their seven children; Ellen (Jack) Kane, Menifee, CA; Mary (Tom) Spaeth, Chilton; Keith (Tricia) Propson, Kaukauna; Lori (Joe) Krause, Chilton; Lisa (Matt) Schaefer, Madison; Lynn (Ken) Van Oss, Chilton; and Debra (Eric) Iverson, Watertown. He is further survived by 14 Grandchildren; Jerod (Michele) Spaeth, Justin (Michele) Spaeth, and Jenna Spaeth; Jenna, Alex, Alyssa, and Jonathan Propson; Andrew and Annie Krause, Angeleah, Isaac, and Maria Schaefer; and Adam and Emma Iverson. He had one great-granddaughter Claire Spaeth. His sister Stella Gerner and brother Gordon (June) Propson also survive him along with his brothers and sisters in-law; Harold Heiner, Joyce Halbach, Audrey Mader, Al Halbach, Jeanette Ott, Eugene Halbach, Mary Ann Olson, Sister Margaret Mary Halbach, and Ray (Marilyn) Halbach. Norb is futher survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Raymond and Mayme Halbach, and two grandsons, Nicholas Iverson and Lucas Van Oss; his siblings Clarence Propson, Esther Heiner, and Marie Perl; his brothers and sisters in-law, Margaret Propson, Elmer Perl, Syl Gerner, Bill Halbach, Don and Ethel Halbach, Ceil and Adrian Mader, Mert Halbach, Leo Ott, Joan Halbach, Neil Olson, Jerry Halbach, and James Halbach. Funeral services with Military rites will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Parish in Chilton with Father Bob Kollath and Deacon Dennis Bennin presiding. Interment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton on Tuesday, April 3, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and again Wednesday morning at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials are appreciated in the name of Norbert G.     Stella H. Gerner, 86, of Chilton, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Willowdale Nursing Home in New Holstein. She was the former Stella H. Propson, born September 6, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Appolonia (Joas) Propson. Her husband, Sylvester, preceded her in death on February 23, 1996. First and foremost Stella was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She graduated from Chilton High School in 1946 being the youngest in her class. Prior to her marriage she worked as a bookkeeper for the John Deere Dealer in Chilton. She married Sylvester Gerner on May 10, 1950 at Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Kloten. In the early 1950's Stella and Sylvester operated the Fisherman's Inn in Brothertown. She also worked at the Heritage Orchard, and at G & R Service in Stockbridge. For over 30 years she owned and operated G. Distributing Company, where a portion of the sales went to training seeing eye dogs for the blind through Master Eye Foundation of America. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho, where she served as treasurer for four years and later served on their finance committee. She is presently a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Chilton.
    Stella enjoyed playing skat, Sheepshead, deer hunting, fishing, sturgeon spearing, and doing word searches. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed eating at Seven Angels restaurant and visiting with friends there. She always enjoyed listening to the Jerry Schneider radio program, watching Lawrence Welk, the Green Bay Packers, and Wheel of Fortune. Some of her most treasured sights were the sunsets over Lake Winnebago. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
    Survivors include her three children, Shirley Knapp of Douglasville, GA, Sandra (John) Kartheiser of Forsyth, MO, and Scott Gerner of Chilton; five grandchildren, Todd (Corina) Wagner of IL, Kelley (Jared) Likes of GA, Shane (Lindsey) Gerner of Chilton, Lance Gerner of Chilton, John W. Kartheiser (Alexandra Neinast) of TX. She is further survived by 10 great-grandchildren, Taisha, Xanthos, Zerin, Mali, and Daxton Likes, Rianne and Alexandra Wagner, Alayna, Kailyn, and Layla Gerner. She is also survived by a brother, Gordon (June) Propson of New Holstein; sisters-in-law, Rosie Propson of Chilton, Rosie (Don) Gerner of MN, Dorothy Gerner of WI, Connie Gerner of MD, and Bev Gerner of WI; her Godchildren, Jeff Propson, Frank Perl, and Kenneth Propson; special friend, Bernard Kursheidt, and many other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents and husband, Sylvester, Stella was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Arthur Knapp; two brothers, Clarence (Margaret) Propson and Norbert Propson; two sisters, Esther (Harold) Heiner and Marie (Elmer) Perl; and her in-laws, Emil (Louisa) Gerner, Corbin (Bernie) Gerner, Lester Gerner, Emmett (Janice) Gerner, Robert Gerner, Lou (Al) Harlow, Betty (Ray) Barta, and Elroy (Arlene) Gerner.
    Funeral services will be at 11:30am on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main Street) in Chilton. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Jericho. Friends may call at Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main Street) in Chilton from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 and Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 10:00am to 11:00am. There will be a 6:00pm parish vigil service Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
    Stella's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers and staff at Willowdale Nursing Home and Century Ridge for the care and compassion shown to her.
