Obituary:
Jerome Van Lannen, 79, passed away Dec. 3, 2010, at Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah. He was born July 6, 1931, to the late Norbert and Viola (Sigl) Van Lannen. On Aug. 5, 1950, he married Lucille Hackl.
Jerome worked in roofing, farming and at Seymour Canning. Jerome and Lucille operated J & L Bar near Hofa Park, where he also raised pheasants, deer and other animals.
He is survived by four sons, Wayne (Ellen) Van Lannen, Menasha; Michael (Lori) Van Lannen, Barling, Ark.; John (Annette) Van Lannen, Pulaski; David (Christine) Van Lannen, Germany; five daughters, Jean Miller, White Bear Lake, Minn.; Audrey Van Lannen, New London; Cheryl Van Lannen, Appleton; Marilyn Parker, Geneva, Ill.; Susan (Michael) Peters, Medford, Wis.; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Also survived by seven brothers, Robert, Vernon, Leonard, Dale and Jim, all of Pulaski; Ronald, Green Bay; Gary, Suamico; and four sisters, Joyce Kolodziej, Janice Robaidek and Diane Dombrowski, all of Pulaski; and Faye Lasecki, Milwaukee.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard; and a brother, Roger.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, from 10 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Private burial will take place in Seymour City Cemetery.
