    Paul J. "Sonny" Frank, Jr., of Neenah, age 82, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, at King, WI, surrounded by his family. He was born March 29, 1931 in Fond du Lac, son of the late Paul J. and Irma (Radtke) Frank Sr.
    Sonny graduated from Neenah High School where he was Captain of Neenah's first baseball team. He was a golden gloves boxing champion and after joining the U.S. Army during the Korean War he was a member of the Army boxing team.
    Sonny married Irene Skell on May 8, 1954. She preceded him in death on January 6, 2012. He was employed with the Soo Line Railroad until retiring in 1987. He then stayed active running a lawn care service.
    Sonny enjoyed playing baseball, bowling, competing in other sports, and also hunting and fishing. He loved watching his grandchildren participating in their sporting activities.
    Sonny was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church of Neenah, the Neenah VFW Post #10893 where he served on their Honor Guard, and the Rusty Rails.
    Survivors include his three children: Tom (Diane) Frank; Linda (Tom) Voight; and Tammy (Greg) Roou; his grandchildren: Lisa Smith; Cindy Kreuser; Neil (Brittany) Frank; Nicholas (Maureen) McLain; Kelly (Andrew) Naughton; Ryan (Sarah) McLain; Rachel and Allie Frank; Eric Voight and Sul Garcia, Melissa (Michael) Russo and Matthew Roou. He is further survived by her great-grandchildren: Olivia and Montana Smith; Estelle and June Harsh, Cleo Naughton, Sophia McLain, Brieyel Frank, Ethan Voight, Jacob, Abby and Lucas Russo; his twin sister, Pauline Darkow; a sister, Julie (Dick) Koslowski; and two brothers: Bob (Edna) Frank, Ralph (Mary) Frank.
    Sonny was preceded in death by a son, Michael Frank, and his wife, Ellie; a grandson, Aaron Frank; and a daughter-in-law, Christine Frank.
    The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 AM until the hour of Mass. Military rites will follow the service conducted by the US Army and the Neenah Menasha Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Sonny's name.

    Aaron Frank, Appleton, passed away at his home on Saturday afternoon, March 5, 2011. He was born in Abington, Penn., on September 15, 1982, son of Thomas Frank of Appleton, and the late Christine (Koehnke) Frank. Aaron graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His degree was in journalism.
    Aaron was quick-witted and funny, and he was a gifted writer. He authored many writings, including a screenplay. Aaron was also a gifted musician who enjoyed reading and watching classic movies.
    He is survived by his parents, Tom (Diane) Frank, Appleton; five brothers and sisters, Nicholas (Maureen) McLain, Madison; Kelly (Andrew Naughton) McLain, Minneapolis, and their daughters, Estelle and June; Ryan (Sarah) McLain, Chicago; Rachel Frank, Madison; and Allie Frank, at home; his maternal grandmother, Luanne Koehnke Nelson, Appleton; his paternal grandparents, Paul and Irene Frank, Jr., King; and by Diane's father, Edgar Theyerl, and his good friend, Pat.
    Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Christine, in 1991.
    A celebration of Aaron's life will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at the funeral home chapel, 3212 S. Oneida Street in Menasha. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the hour of the service. Following the service, Aaron will join his mother, Christine, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for an area crisis referral center.
