    Notes:

    Obituary:
Karen M. Frailing, of Appleton, went to her heavenly home on Monday, May 2, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Karen was born on October 5, 1934, in Appleton, the only child of the late Otto and Gertrude (Kasten) Wojahn. She was united in marriage to Gerald Frailing on September 1, 1956, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church of Appleton. Karen was a longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church; she had a deep faith in God and loved to attend church and Bible class. Karen loved to care for her family and her flower gardens. Her generous spirit was demonstrated by the time and concern she showed for needful children both here and in Mexico.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Avenue, Appleton, with Revs. Daniel Thews and Paul Brinkman officiating. Karen's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday at the church from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations to Faith's Together In Missions group (TIM) on Karen's behalf.
The family would like to express our deep gratitude to the doctors, nurses and other staff at Theda Clark Medical Center who tended Karen - especially the people in the Stroke Center and ICU. This wonderful caring staff gave Karen the best possible attention. Their love and devotion to her care was noted and greatly appreciated.
