    Obituary:
Leona P. Rollmann, age 94, of Chilton, died on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Rennes Health & Rehab Center in Appleton. She was born February 13, 1917 in the Town of Brothertown, daughter of the late Nicholas & Kathryn (Steiner) Muellenbach. She married Sylvester Rollmann on January 22, 1935 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Charlesburg; 'Les' preceded her in death on May 6, 1987. Leona worked as a waitress at the Chilton Hotel, the Chilton Canning Company and Aluminum Specialty. She enjoyed playing Bridge and Sheepshead and belonged to many local card clubs. She loved gardening, needlework, and traveling with the Chilton Senior Center. Leona was very proud of being an active and involved member of her community and her church where she had volunteered countless hours to the betterment of both. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, formerly St. Mary's Parish where she had also been involved with the Christian Mothers having served two years as president; the Daughters of Isabella where she served two years as president, the church choir, and volunteered as a funeral ministry leader and volunteer. She belonged to the Calumet Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, was a Chilton Senior Center Meals on Wheels preparer and deliverer, was a reading volunteer for the Chilton Elementary School RSVP (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program), delivered Thanksgiving Day meals from the Dairy Queen and belonged to the Chilton Eagles Auxiliary. Leona was a hard worker throughout her entire life. She enjoyed traveling and found wonder in all that surrounded her. Her love of life and love of people's company never left Leona a stranger to someone for very long; she was forever making new friends, and new connections to the vast number of friends and family she already cherished. Leona was dedicated to her family and all that knew her will miss her witty personality, her joyous laugh, and the sparkle in her eye.
Survivors include her children: Janice Crowley, Marlene (Bob) Wirth, Dick Rollmann, Kathleen (John) Beatty, Judy (James) Carmack, Lori (William) Wallschlaeger; 28 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren with another arriving soon; 4 great-great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law: Laura (Elmer) Muellenbach, and Marion (Alfred) Muellenbach. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
