    Frederick D. Schroeder, 75, of Appleton, formerly Black Creek, passed away Monday morning, June 1, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born August 6, 1939 in Neenah, to the late Frederick Sr. and Marie (Belongia) Schroeder.
    He was a graduate of Shiocton High School. Fred was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving at Aviano Air Force Base, Italy, returning home to marry Kathleen Brugger January 6, 1962 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Black Creek. He was the owner of Nichols Ballroom, Nichols from 1970 to 1974. Fred was a truck driver driving for American Can, Seymour Transfer, retiring from Con-Way Central in 2001. Fred was a member of the Moose Lodge 367 in Appleton. He loved sports and was a former umpire for the Dairyland Baseball league. Fred enjoyed spending his winters in Florida since his retirement and especially time spent with his family following all of his grandchildren's activities.
    They raised three wonderful children, Timothy and his children, Erik, Mandy (Curtis Denk) and their son, Ethan; Todd (Lynn) and their daughters, Kylie and Marissa; Kelly (Robyn) Wussow and their son, Jorey.
    Fred is survived by his wife, Kathy and his two children; siblings: Shirley Siewert, Donna Shepard, Larry (Margaret) Schroeder, Joanne (Roland) Gasser, William (Cindy) Schroeder, Patricia (Lyle) Shepard, Catherine Rettler, Diane (David) Bunnell, Richard (Carol) Schroeder; sisters and brothers-in-law: Joan Brugger, Brian (Pat) Brugger, Lynn (Bill) Hall, Amy (Fred) Peters, Joan Brugger and Debbie Brugger; many nieces, nephews and many special friends; his four Godchildren, Denise, Scott, Tracy and Tammy; Fred's special pet Laci.
    Fred is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Dawn Lea and son, Timothy Frederick in 2010; mother-in-law and father-in-law Eileen and Lawrence Brugger; brothers-in-law: William Siewert, Merton Shepard, James Rettler, Jim, Burt, and Laverne Brugger.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. and will continue on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Seymour United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rebecca Henry officiating.     Obituary:
    Oneida - Larry D. Schroeder, 77, of Oneida, passed away peacefully Friday morning, July 20, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 29, 1940, son of the late Frederick Sr. and Marie (Belongia) Schroeder.
    He served in the US Marine Corp from 1960 to 1964 having served as an MP.
    On June 27, 1964 he was united in marriage to Margaret Brocker.
    He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Oneida.
    Larry worked at the pallet factory in Black Creek and retired from the Oneida Casino.
    He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, loved to go fishing and the family hunting trips to Hazelhurst. The Packers and Brewers lost one of their biggest fans.
    Larry was a very generous person with a big heart, lending a helping hand whenever he could. More than anything else, he loved his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    He is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Teresa (Pat) Ames; son, David (Jo Jo Koehler) Schroeder; grandchildren: James (Katie) Dobratz and Dylan Dobratz; great-grandchildren: Alex Graf, Madeline and Sophia Dobratz; siblings: Donna Shepard, Joanne (Roland) Gasser, William (Cindy) Schroeder, Dennis (Pat) Schroeder, Patricia (Lyle) Shepard, Catherine Rettler, Diane (David) Bunnell, Richard (Carol) Schroeder; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Kathy Schroeder, Arlene (Butch) Davis, Carl (Debbie) Brocker, Jill Brocker, William Van Boxtel, Melvin Brocker, and Carl Prilepp.
    Larry is preceded in death by his sisters: Shirley (William) Siewert and infant sister, Beverly; brother, Frederick Schroeder; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Melvin and Angeline Brocker; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Josephine (Fred) Bailey, Barbara Van Boxtel, Donna Prilepp, Jacob (Kathy) Satterlee, Merton Shepard, Jim Rettler, and John Brocker.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, Oneida from 9:30 am until funeral services at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark Schumm officiating. Burial will take place in parish cemetery with military honors conducted by the Oneida VFW Post #7784.
