About 75 friends and relatives attended a farewell party given Satur- day night at Hotel Northern for Mr and Mrs. A. F. McDonald who left Sunday evening for Minneapolis and Winnipeg enroute to their home at Vancouver, B. C. after visiting for a month at the homes of their mothers Mrs. Mary McDonald and Mrs. Elizabeth Featherstone. Bridge schafkopf and dice was played and prizes •were won by Mrs. Edward Morrow Mrs. J. Kimball and Mrs. J. Shiners. The remainder of the evening was spent in singing and dancing.
