Obituary:
Walter C. Snell Rites Conducted at Shiocton Shiocton - Funeral service for Walter C Snell, 82, whose death occured Friday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Oaks, were conducted from the Oaks residence at 1:30 Monday afternoon by the Rev. Robert Black, pastor of the Shiocton Congregational Church. Burial was made at the Liberty Cemetery. Bearers were Orville Petit, Wilmer Petit, Harvey Bonnin, Ervin Huebner, Arthur Peters and Henry Below. The deceased was born at Tustin, near Lake Poygan. He lived here until 1890 when he came to Shiocton. On Sept. 24, 1892, he married Mrs. Caroline Buelow-Bonnin who preceded him in death a few years ago, feeble because of age, he came to live with his daughter, Mrs Oaks. Other survivors are two sons: Otis, Shiocton, George, Oshkosh, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lillian Petit, Liberty, and a stepson, John Bonnin, New London and eight grandchildren..
