Obituary:
Paul N. Rabideau, Kaukauna, 70, died on Saturday, Mar. 10, 2012, at home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 13, 1941, in Appleton, Wis. son of the late Melvin and Alma (Feller) Rabideau. Paul was a 1959 Kaukauna High School graduate. On Feb. 20, 1960, he married Patricia Vils at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna. The couple lived in the Kaukauna area their entire married lives. Paul worked 25 years at Giddings & Lewis and finished his career at New London Engineering, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed fishing at their trailer up north, spending time with his brothers, playing cards with his "Pub" buddies, playing games with his grandkids, and taking Pat out for the Sunday Buffet.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia, Kaukauna; their children, Wendy and Steven McMorrow, Appleton; Paula Rabideau, Kaukauna; and Dan Rabideau, Neenah; grandchildren, Chelsea, Katie, Jenna, and Dana McMorrow, Derek and Drew Rabideau; six brothers, Richard (Inez), Appleton; Tom, White Lake; John (Joan), Wrightstown; Peter, Mark (Bonnie), Melvin (Judy), all of Kaukauna; He is further survived by his wife's family; her mother, Estelle Vils, her sister, Sue (Ron) Busse, her brother, Tom (Pam) Vils, all of Kaukauna; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother at birth, Phillip, and a niece, Deb Rabideau.
Memorial Services for Paul will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 13, 2012, at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of Service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name. www.boettcherfamilyfuneral.com
