    Notes:

    Obituary:
Allen F. Lintner, age 94, of Chilton died on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Century Ridge in Chilton. He was born July 20, 1917 in Brillion, son of the late Leonard & Julia (Steinbach) Lintner. Throughout his life, Allen was interested in aviation and airplanes; his expertise proved to be a tremendous asset while he faithfully served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps. Following his discharge from the military, Allen worked as a milk tester for DHIA where he met his wife to be, Clara. Allen married Clara Elizabeth Kopf on June 27, 1951 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton and they operated their Guernsey Dairy Farm in the Town of Chilton together until retiring in 1979. Clara preceded him in death on April 29, 1990. Following his retirement, Allen worked for the Calumet County Fairground Association as the grounds caretaker; if there was ever something that needed fixing at the fairgrounds, Allen was able to fix it. He was a member of the Chilton American Legion, and the Wisconsin and North East Guernsey Breeders' Association where he served as Secretary on more than one occasion. Allen was never a person who sat still for very long; he loved work and cherished the joy it brought him knowing he was able to accomplish something by his own hand. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and feeding birds. Allen loved to play Sheepshead and belonged to a neighborhood card club for over 40 years; those moments of fellowship, joke telling, and laughing were enjoyed by all.
Survivors include his children: Arlene Lintner of Appleton, Janet Lintner of Appleton; Gerald (Ann) Lintner of Chilton, Donald (Terese) Lintner of New Holstein; his grandchildren: Jamie (Reed) Beyer of New Holstein, Julia (Nick) Stenz of Sheboygan, Justin Lintner of Chilton, Nicholas Lintner of New Holstein, Isaac Lintner of New Holstein; great-grandchildren: Emma Beyer, Trent Beyer, & Noah Stenz; and his in-laws: John Weinreis, Art (Joyce) Kopf, and Ron Escher. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Clara; brothers: Oscar (Sally) Lintner, Earl (Irma) Lintner; a sister: Alice (Mariner) Frank; and other various in-laws.
Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St) in Chilton. Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2011.
