    Obituary:
On August 9th, 1940, Oscar and Bernice Ott became proud parents of a son they named Dennis Conrad Ott. Dennis grew up on the farm in Forest Junction. As a young 5 year old, he tells the story of walking on the roofs of the farm buildings and driving the tractor in the fields. As a student he attended Long Fellow School and Brillion High School, where he was a three sport athlete. He lettered all four years in football, wrestling, and pole vaulting in track.
During his youth he attended Zion United Methodist Church, where he was also confirmed. During his senior year of high school he met the love of his life, Judy Wolfmeyer. Five years later they married. After high school he went to work at the Brillion Iron Works, where he worked for 47 years, retiring in 2006. During his employment he completed an apprentice program, winning the First Place Robert G. Kennedy Memorial Award.
Dennis and Judy had four children: Dan Ott (spouse Kathie Brock), Broken Arrow, OK; Keith Ott (spouse Pam Miller), Plymouth, WI; Lynda Ott, Brillion, WI; Kristine Ott, Brillion WI. In 1985 they added to their family an AFS daughter Cristina Seabra of Portugual. As a family we traveled to many states, camping in the north woods, and spending time at Long Lake. If you wanted to find Dennis you had to look for the boat out on the water, where he'd be pulling the kids and their friends water skiing from morning to night. His love for children always showed no matter where he went. Small children that he didn't even know would come up to him, take his hand, and walk with him.
Our family grew with the birth of three grandchildren for him to love and spoil: Nathan Ott (spouse Christin), Sheboygan, WI; Christie Ott, Boston, MA; Tyler Ott (special friend Ashley), Boston, MA; step-grandchildren Daniel Brock, Tulsa, OK; and Stacy (spouse Robert) Hirschman, Edmond, OK. Lastly, a great-grandson was born: Hunter Ott, Sheboygan, WI, who for the past year and a half Dennis and Judy enjoyed babysitting for.
Dennis also worked at his father's gas station in Forest Junction during the early years, and then moved on to bus driving for Horn Ford, now Sonnabend Busses, for a total of 34 years.
Give Dennis and Judy a car and the open road and they were in their glory. In their 53 years of marriage, they visited all 50 states - many states more than once. They also enjoyed visits to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, Canada, Portugal, and numerous European countries. In 2011, the entire family went on a cruise to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
Dennis's other passion was football. He would watch no matter who was playing, but of course, the Packers were number one. Most recently, he became a shareholder. Dennis never missed watching his children and grandchildren participate in their school and sporting activities.
Other activities Dennis enjoyed were bowling league, cards with friends, woodworking, and making special items for family keepsakes.
In 1995, The Lord thought Dennis was a good candidate to take home. A serious heart attack and bypass surgery had challenged him. Dennis fought back and The Lord changed his mind. With the help of Dr Ackell, Dr Aristigueta, and Dr Anderson, Dennis lived another 19 years. On October 29th The Lord said, "Enough, no more struggles, no more pain, no more shortness of breath, come home." While at home, with his family at his side, The Lord took him. On November 7th family and friends will celebrate Dennis's life at Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion. Visitation will be from 1:30-4:30, followed by a 4:30 service.
Preceding Dennis in death, are his parents Oscar and Bernice Ott, In-laws Lloyd and Esther Wolfmeyer, his grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. Dennis is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Yvonne and John Calnin, brother Dean Ott, brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Loni Wolfmeyer, a niece, nephews, and two special friends Kris Logan and Tom Schroeder.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

Dennis married Wolfmeyer, Judy (daughter of Wolfmeyer, Lloyd and Gast, Esther Irma) [Group Sheet]

    Obituary:
Kristine Kay Ott, age 48, of Brillion, WI concluded her valiant battle with kidney cancer, which she fought on her own terms, and went home to the Lord on July 12, 2017.
Kris was born on January 20, 1969, daughter of Judy and the late Dennis Ott. She grew up in Brillion, WI where she would pass days playing with her sister, staying up late devouring books, and spending entire weekends with family, grandparents, and relatives at Long Lake swimming, water skiing, and playing games. She was always active, intellectually engaging, and a competitor. In high school she was a three sport athlete who received many honors, played the lead role in several musicals, and excelled academically, culminating as the valedictorian of her class. Kris attended Cornell College, in Mount Vernon, IA where she excelled in volleyball and graduated summa cum laude.
After various professional positions, Kris found her calling and attended Lakeside School of Massage Therapy in Milwaukee. She was a state licensed and nationally certified professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. For several years she was also active in the Mid-Day Women's Alliance.
Her professional passion resided in starting up and running her own small business, Antidote Massage Therapy, in Menasha, WI. Kris utilized a customized blend of therapeutic and relaxation techniques to help manage stress, minimize pain, and maximize health. As a massage therapist, Kris had a gift for providing great care, healing, and love to her clients and patients.
Kris was always a very loving and caring person with unending devotion to her Lord and to her family. She was a rock for her mother and father throughout her adult life. She had a quick wit, an amazing memory, and an angelic voice that she shared in musical productions and in church services throughout much of her life. In her spare time she continued enjoying the "lake" and watching and following many sports with her family, but she seemingly preferred volleyball over all others, particularly when cheering for the Wisconsin Badger Volleyball team as a recent season ticketholder.
Kris was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving mother Judy Ott of Brillion, WI; sister Lynda Ott of Brillion, WI; brother Dan (Kathie) Ott of Broken Arrow, OK; and brother Keith (Pam) Ott of Plymouth, WI. In addition, she deeply touched the lives of and is survived by nephew Nathan Ott and grandnephew Hunter Ott of Plymouth, WI; niece Christie Ott of Boston, MA; nephew Tyler (Ashley) Ott of Boston, MA; Daniel Brock of Tulsa, OK; Stacy (Robert) Hirschman of Edmond, OK; AFS sister Christina Faria of Portugal; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kris was preceded in death by her father Dennis Ott.
A visitation for Kris will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 204 Horn St., Brillion, WI. A memorial service will follow the visitation, officiated by Rev. Dale Eggert. Kris has been cremated, and burial will take place in Brillion Community Cemetery.
    Online condolences may be made.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rev. Dale Eggert, the staff at Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology and Heartland Hospice for their high quality of care, compassion, and professionalism.
