    Kaepernick, Marvin D.
    Marvin D. Kaepernick, 76, New London, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2005, at his residence. Marvin was born on Dec. 26, 1928, in New London son of the late Reinhold and Flossie (Webb) Kaepernick. On June 12, 1949, Marvin was united in marriage to Cherie Roe in New London at Emanuel Lutheran Church. Marvin worked at Verifine Dairy for over 20 years as a truck driver and then at Curwood for over 20 years, retiring in 1995. Marvin also drove school bus for the New London School District for over 20 years. He was an active member of Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, where he served on various boards and committees. He loved golf and was also a member of the New London Wooden Wings Ski Club.
    He is survived by his wife Cherie, four sons: John (Rochelle) Kaepernick, New London; Rick (Teresa) Kaepernick, Turlock, California; Rand (Patricia) Kaepernick, New London; Jim (Lisa) Kaepernick, Bellingham, Washington. A sister Beverly White, New London twelve grandchildren: Kelly, Kasey (Teasha), Kory, Kyle (Lindsey), Devon, Colin, Kimberly, Brett, Gavin and Jacob. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He is preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren Lance and Kent, a sister Velda Runge and a brother Duaine Kaepernick.
    Funeral services for Marvin will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at 11AM at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London. Burial will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery in New London. Friends may call at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London from 4 to 8PM on Monday April 25, 2005, and at the church on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service.
