    Obituary:
    Wlliam R. Resch, Menasha, age 84, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 2, 2006, at his home. Bill was born January 10, 1922, in Menasha the son of the late Joseph and Anne (Rippl) Resch. He married Lucille Thiele on June 10, 1950, in Black River Falls. Bill served his country during World War II in the Marine Corps. He had been employed at P.G. Miron Company for 38 years, retiring in 1984. Bill was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and he enjoyed fishing and gardening.
    Bill is survived by his wife, Lucille, his children: Daniel (Maurine) Resch, Blythe, GA; Joseph (Mary) Resch, Menasha; Gerard (Julie) Resch, Greenville; Philip (Denise) Resch, Green Bay; Ann (Richard) Brecklin, Appleton; Nancy (Joseph) Drexler, Appleton; Elizabeth (Daniel) Weiland, New London; 17 grandchildren: Margaret, Julie, Jenny, Sarah, Joseph, Jr., Erica, Emily, Cassie, Meagan, Jacqueline, Joseph Jr., Jacob, Amanda, Zachary, Samuel, Jonathon, and Kathryn, also eight great-grandchildren: Charles, Jeremiah, Andrew, Theresa, Mary, Tate, Ryan and Kalli. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas, Neenah; several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters: Joseph (Helen), Carl (Norma), Robert (Evelyn) Margaret (Norman) Jensen, Ralph (Mary), Mary (John) Monahan, Bernice Resch, Ethel (Robert) Hoehne.
    Funeral services for Bill will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2006, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second St., Menasha, with Father Robert Lexa officiating. Friends and family will be received at the church on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral mass. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
    The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice Care Staff, for their care and support.

    Obituary:
    Ethel Resch was the youngest of 10 children of Joseph and Anna Resch. She was born on Oct. 12, 1926 in Menasha, Wisconsin. She lived her entire life in Menasha and graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School in 1944.
    In 1949 my parents were married at St. Mary's Church. They raised three kids and lived on "the island" until my dad passed away in 1990.
    She was a very quiet person and loved by all who knew her. She is missed by many. She was a wonderful cook who was known for her German Potato salad. She made most everything from scratch and her potato pancakes, beef hash and Christmas cookies are very much missed.
    She died very unexpectedly on Dec. 6, 2002 at Appleton Medical Center of a heart attack. She is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery where her parents and all nine of her siblings are also buried.

    Ethel married Hoehne, Robert Carl 20 Sep 1949. Robert (son of Hoehne, Edward and Meyer, Margaret) was born 2 Feb 1925; died 12 Dec 1990; was buried , St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Menasha, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]
