    Ida was the daughter of John Ortlieb and his wife, Rosa Boll. She was married 2 June 1908, to Michael Niesen at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chilton, WI. Michael was the son of Hubert and Catherine Niesen.

    Mrs. Michael Niesen, 84, who resided with her sister, Mrs. Isabelle Voss, West Main St., Chilton, the past three years and who was a former Kaukauna resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1966 at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, WI, after a month's illness.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton. The Rev. Duane Dionne will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
    Mrs. Niesen, the former Ida Ortlieb, was born Aug. 29, 1882, at Chilton, daughter of the late John and Rosa Boll Ortlieb. She was educated at St. Mary parochial and Chilton High schools. She was married to Mr. Niesen June 2, 1908, at Chilton. Her husband died Jan. 21 1936. She was a member of the Women's Club and the Women's Court, Catholic Order of Foresters, at Kaukauna.
    Her only survivor is Mrs. Voss. Three brothers* preceded her in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
    *Brothers: John W. Ortlieb, Emil V. Ortlieb and Norman J. Ortlieb.
