    Obituary:
    Duffy, Kathleen "Tink"
Kathleen "Tink" Duffy, 81, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, surrounded by her loving family.
Tink was born Feb. 26, 1926, in Green Bay to the late Madeline (Gavin) and Arthur Maloney.
After graduating from Green Bay East High School in 1944, she worked at Northwest Engineering for several years.
On October 13, 1951, she married John P. Duffy, who preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1990.
Tink was a charter member of St. Jude Parish for over 50 years where she and her beloved John raised their eight children. Tink adored her family and hosted and savored countless festive meals and gatherings, and John always made the gravy.
Always delightfully Irish, Tink joined her family at the Milwaukee Irish Fest every summer, traveled to Ireland on three separate occasions and enjoyed all things Irish. Not only was Tink passionate about food and a tremendous cook, she was an expert at sewing and knitting. Few things made her happier than a round of golf and a dip in the pool. As a member of Oneida Country Club for over 30 years, Tink eagled hole number 2 and got a hole-in-one on number 13, truly glorious moments.
A good bargain and a good laugh never got by Tink. Her sense of humor, lasagna recipe, spunk and spirit will endure with those of us who knew and loved her. Tink had an enormous heart and everyone was welcome in her home and kitchen. Tink loved Life!
Tink will be sadly missed by her four sons and three daughters and their spouses, Dennis and Martha Duffy, Green Bay; Eileen Duffy, Green Bay; Patrick and Cathy Duffy, Green Bay; Brian Duffy and Sandy Bell, Madison; Molly Duffy and Jim Ricksecker, Milwaukee; Kathleen "Kootsie" Duffy and Frank Sullivan, Chicago; Timmy and Carmel Duffy, Green Bay. Tink's beloved grandchildren include, Molly Rose, Madeline and John Duffy, Bridget and Greg Nygaard, Chad Mazur, Kaitlyn and Meghan Duffy, Maggie and Owen Duffy, Katie and Billy O'Duffy, Brendan and Molly O'Sullivan, Melissa, Danny and Maureen Ricksecker, Nora and Erin Sullivan, Caroline and Matthew Duffy. Her great grandchildren include Ava, Olivia and Eden Nygaard. Tink is also survived by brother, Jerome Maloney; sister, Joanie Maloney; sister-in-law, Audrey Maloney and brother-in-law, Judge William Duffy.
In addition to her husband and parents, Tink was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Seamus, who passed away in 1996 after participating in the Special Olympics. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Rosemary Lee and her brothers, Larry and John Maloney; her in-laws, Bill Lee Sr., Lorraine Maloney, Ann and Wilfred VanAble, Helen and Frank Bauman, Betty Duffy, Patrick Conroy and nephew, Bill Lee Jr.
Friends may call Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2007. Friends may also call at St. Jude Church, 1420 Division Street, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday before the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30.
The Duffy family would like to extend a special thank you to the Bishops Court staff and dear friend, Eugene Norman, who so generously provided love and care for Tink during the past two years. A special thanks also goes out to the Heartland Hospice staff who kindly provided the additional comfort Tink needed in her last few months. In addition, Tink's hair stylist and confidant, Pat Davister, was a cherished friend for many years.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Tink's memory be sent to Heartland Home Health Care & Hospice, 1145 W. Main Ave., Ste. 205, De Pere, WI 54115. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .
