Obituary:
Stuart J. Elsner, Appleton, age 92, passed away at Brewster Village on Monday, September 3, 2007. He was born in Appleton on November 11, 1914, the son of the late Louis and Theresa (Christl) Elsner. He was employed at Albany International in Quality Control for many years. Stuart had many interests including gardening and fishing on Lake Michigan. He especially enjoyed traveling with his daughter Sally and taking pictures at many destinations in the United States and Canada.
Stuart is survived by his daughter, Sally Carey of Lake Bluff, IL; grandchildren: Lynn Carey of Denver, CO, and Sarah (Michael) Cancel of Chula Vista, CA; and great-grandchildren: Christina Rowe and Tyler Cancel.
He is preceded in death by sisters: Verona Smith (Harrison), Lucille Strang, Eldora Inman and Jane Smith; and brothers: Willis, Gordon and Ward.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2007, at Appleton Alliance Church, 2693 W. Grand Chute Blvd., Appleton, with Rev. Dick Schaefer officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Stuart's name is being established.

Obituary:
Dolores J. Hurst, Kaukauna, age 86, died peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Parkside Care Center. She was born December 16, 1928 in Appleton, WI, daughter of the late Willis and Nanna (Johnson) Elsner. On October 16, 1954 Dolores married Harry L. Hurst, the couple lived in Kaukauna their entire married lives and enjoyed 60 years of marriage prior to his death on January 2, 2015. Dolores worked many years at Wisconsin Telephone as a phone operator. She retired and volunteered the rest of her life to the City of Kaukauna and her church. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Kaukauna.
She is survived by 2 sisters: Carmen Elsner, Little Chute and Denise Koepke, Abilene, TX; and a sister-in-law, Norma Elsner. She is further survived by her husband's family: Audrey (Gerald) Driessen, Little Chute, Jeanette (Tom) Vandehey, Kimberly and Elizabeth Hurst, Appleton; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; 1 sister, Lou Ellen Elsner; 1 brother, Willis Elsner Jr., and a brother-in-law, Leslie.
Funeral Services for Dolores will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH of CHRIST, 510 Sullivan Ave., Kaukauna with Rev. David Bolz officiating. Friends may call directly at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for 1000 Island Environmental Center or the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery. Meulemans, CarolAnn L. (Elsner)
CarolAnn L Meulemans, age 74, of Kaukauna, passed away on May 27, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born September 9, 1934, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Gordon and Lola (Luchterhand) Elsner. On February 14, 1956, she married Howard Meulemans in Kaukauna. CarolAnn was a member of the Kaukauna Homemakers and enjoyed crafts, baking and her pets. She had a pen pal, Olwen Dawson for 64 years in Australia.
CarolAnn is survived by her children: Pamela (William) Cipala, Richfield, MN and Jim (Jane) Meulemans, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Kelsey and Wade Cipala; Jayme and Travis (Crystal) Meulemans; great grandson: Kaynen Meulemans; sister-in-law: Toshiko Morgan; brother-in-law: Gerhardt Pergande. She is further survived by several Elsner cousins, Howard's siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
CarolAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; son, Thomas; brother, Merlin Elsner and sister, Dawn Pergande.
A memorial visitation for CarolAnn will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
