Obituary:
Edmund Bloch, 96, Neenah, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Parkview Health Center. He was born March 5, 1917, in Neenah, son of Edmund F. and Adelaide (Marquardt) Bloch. He married Athleen Atkins on December 25, 1941, at First United Methodist Church, Neenah. She preceded him in death on February 9, 2007.
Ed served in the U.S. Army during World War II, in the South Pacific, and was honorably discharged as a full Colonel. He was employed by Kimberly-Clark for 45 years in the photo lab, retiring in 1980. He also gave many years of leadership to Neenah area Boy Scouts. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Ed is survived by a daughter: Janyce (Ron) Halligan, of Nisswa, MN; a son: Michael, of Neenah; also grandchildren: Shawn (Loretta) Halligan, of Ham Lake, MN, and Stacy (Jeff) Blonigen, of St. Cloud, MN; and great grandchildren: Braydon and Bailey Blonigen.
Edmund was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah, where full military honors will be performed by members of the U.S. Army and the Twin Cities Veteran's Honors Team. Visitation will be held Saturday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Valley Council Boy Scouts.

Obituary:
Marion Dix, 96, Neenah, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Willow Lane Assisted Living, Appleton. She was born on September 7, 1918, Neenah, daughter of Edmund and Adelaide (Marquardt) Bloch. Marion was united in marriage to Harold Dix on April 25, 1942 and they were both graduates of Neenah High School. Marion was also an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Neenah, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid Society. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles, cooking, baking, entertaining, and word search puzzles. She was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan. In her younger days, Marion was active in speed skating and tennis at Neenah High School.
Marion is survived by her two daughters: Karen Dix, Appleton and Kristi (Chase) Ledbetter, Duluth, GA; son: Gilbert "Gil" (Ruth) Dix, Annapolis, MD; four grandchildren: Stephen (Kristan) Dix, John Flatt, Mary Katherine (Brian) O'Connell, Will Ledbetter; and many other relatives and friends.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dix, on December 10, 1994, and four siblings and their spouses.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak St., Neenah, with Rev. Doug Engelbrecht officiating. Marion will be laid to rest with her husband at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund will be established.
A special thanks goes out to Heartland Hospice and the staff at Willow Lane Assisted Living. Their support, care and comfort at this difficult time was greatly appreciated by the family.
