    Mrs. William Schroeder Dale, Wis. Age 68, passed away in Marshfield, Wis. Tuesday morning after a lingering illness. She was born August 8, 1892 in the town of Wolf River and lived in the Dale area most of her life. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Elvira Pavlak, Rt. 1, Neenah, Mrs. Gerald Gorges, Dale and Mrs. Laurence Gorges, Rt. 1, New London; four sons, Eric, Weyauwega; Elmer, Berlin; Orvan, Dale; Eugene, Oshkosh; four brothers, Henry and Richard Krenke, both of Rt. 2 Fremont, Elmer Krenke, Pine River and William Krenke, Poy Sippi; three sistes, Mrs. Ed Schnyder, Oshkosh, Mrs. Erna Borchart and Miss Frieda Krenke, both of Fremont, 36 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran churhc, Dale with burial in the Dale Union Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Hortonville until 11 a.m. Friday and then at the church.

    Ellie Pavlak, 94, of Neenah, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Alten Haus.
    Ellie was born on July 25, 1918, in Dale, the daughter of the late William and Magdalena (Krenke) Schroeder. She was married Stanley Pavlak who preceded her in death in 1959.
    Ellie was employed as a cook with several Neenah/Menasha restaurants over the years. She was a member of Martin Luther Church, Neenah. Ellie enjoyed flowers and gardening, feeding the ducks and birds, doing craftwork, and cooking for everyone under the sun-especially cookies, soups, and canned goods.
    Survivors include her children: Gordon Pavlak, Poysippi; Vern Pavlak, Neenah; Beatrice (Lloyd) Zirbel, Larsen; Charles (Linda) Pavlak, Oshkosh; Ronald (Jeanne) Pavlak, Larsen; Barbara (Mike) Griesbach, Hortonville; Shirley Van Horn, Green Bay; and Bob (Lana) Pavlak, Neenah. There are 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Dolores Scott, New London and Phyllis Gorges, Weyauwega; two sisters-in-law: Margie Schroeder, Oshkosh and Elnora Schroeder, Weyauwega. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Eric, Elmer, Orvin, and Eugene Schroeder.
    The funeral service for Ellie will be Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at Martin Luther Church, Neenah, with Revs. Jason Oakland and Richard Krahn II officiating. Burial will be in Dale Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
    The family would like to thank Alten Haus Traditions and Hospice Advantage for all their special care given to Miss Ellie.

    Delores M. (Gorges)Scott, age 87, was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. She was born on May 9, 1928, in the Township of Dale, the daughter of the late William and Magdalena(Krenke)Schroeder. On Janury 13, 1945, Delores was united in marriage to Gerald Gorges, and they were blessed with four children, Larry, Randy, Marty and Kathy. In 1982, Delores and Gerald parted ways. In 1986, Delores married Donald Scott, he preceded her in death on March 22, 1995. Delores was well known from working at many places in the area, including, the canning factory and toy factory in Hortonville, 41 Bowl, Appleton, Louie's Supper Club, Greenville; Perk's, Medina; Wally's in Dale; Vic and Myrts, in Readfield; and Hahn a lula, Fremont. She later owned and operated The Riverside, in Fremont, before retiring in 1995. Delores was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dale, where she served as the choir director for 28 years, and was a member of the Ladies Aid. She loved music and enjoyed playing the organ and the accordion, as well as singing. She also loved gardening her flower beds, fishing, deer hunting and traveling. Delores is survived by her children, Larry(Vicki)Gorges, Greenville; Randy(Mary)Gorges, New London; Marty(Joanne)Gorges, New London, and Kathy(Dan)Kreutzman, Shiocton; 11 grandchildren, Jason(Kerry)Gorges, Jonathan(Nicki)Gorges, Jerod(Lisa)Gorges, Jody(Sheri)Gorges, Joseph(Stacy)Gorges, Tiffany(fiancé Jacob Bauman)Gorges, Jessica(Chad)Schleicher, Greta(Dan)Scharp, Joshua(Nikki)Kreutzman, Tanya(Chad)Gorges and Andrew Christiansen; 30 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, her step-children, Randy(Becky)Scott, Renee(Art)Alvarez, and Rick(Janee')Scott; 9 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Margie Schroeder; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Gorges, on September 13, 1995; her grandson, Corey Kreutzman; four brothers, Eric, Elmer, Orvan and Eugene; two sisters, Elvera and Phyllis. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, N926 Dale Ave., Dale. Rev. William Finn will officiate. Burial will be in Dale Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 4-7 PM and on Thursday, at the church from 10AM until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church.

    Phyllis Gorges, age 82, Dale passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was born on April 3, 1933, the daughter of the late William and Magdalena (Krenke) Schroeder. On June 2, 1951, Phyllis was united in marriage to Laurence Gorges in Dale. He preceded her in death in 2005. Phyllis worked at New London Community Hospital as head of housekeeping and purchasing for many years. She also did bartending and waitressing in many area bars and supper clubs. She enjoyed riding her scooter and feeding the birds. In her younger years she loved to go camping with her husband.
    Phyllis is survived by a daughter Joanne Gorges (special friend Jim Rhoden) Oshkosh; six sons: Mike (Judy) Gorges, Dale; Tom (Cindy) Gorges, Readfield; Don (special friend, Jill Berghuis) Gorges, Dale; Kenny (Rae) Gorges, Readfield; Joe Gorges, Wittenberg; Dennis (Kristi) Gorges, Dale. She is further survived by a sister Delores Scott, New London; a special niece/daughter, Cindy (Terry) Williams, Dale; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and also numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, many friends and her special kitty Grace.
    She is preceded in death by her husband, a son Jim, 4 brothers, and a sister.
    Funeral services for Phyllis will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Dale with Rev. William Finn officiating. Burial will be in the Dale Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

    Phyliss married Gorges, Laurence 2 Jun 1951. Laurence was born 8 Aug 1926; died 21 Aug 2005. [Group Sheet]
