    Donald E. Baehman, 80, Hortonville, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at his residence. He was born on Nov. 7, 1927, in the Township of Hortonia, son of the late Fred and Sena (Stoltzman) Baehman. On Sept. 22, 1951, he was united in marriage to Gladys Holtz at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Birnamwood. Don worked as a shipping clerk at Banta Publishing in Menasha for over 30 years, retiring in 1987. He and his wife enjoyed spending time in the summer at their cottage on Lake Metonga. He especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and being outdoors.
    He is survived by his wife, Gladys; two daughters, Connie (Rev. Greg) Bey, Crete, Ill.; Faye (Mark) Mitchell, Neenah; one son, James (Carrie) Baehman, Hortonville; and one sister, Ada (Luther) Huebner, Hortonville. He is further survived by five grandchildren, Sena, Emily, Grace, Scott and Serena; and seven step-grandchildren, Jill, Jenna, Tina, Michael, Aubrie, Randi and Alaina.
    He was preceded in death by five brothers, Alfred, Harold, Wilbur, Leonard and Robert; and one sister, Edna.
    The Funeral Service for Donald will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville, with the Rev. Matt Duin officiating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery in Hortonville. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
    A Memorial Fund has been established for Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
