Obituary:
JOHN F. CULLIGAN John F. Culligan, 49, Florence, Wis., former Appleton resident, died at 10 o'clock last night in Iron Mountain, Mich., after a year's illness. Born Feb. 29, 1890, in Algoma, he left Appleton four years ago. Mr. Culligan was a member of Thibadeau post, American Legion, Casco, Wis. He was a sergeant in Company G of the 128th infantry, 32nd division. He was in service 22 months during the World war, served 16 months, and was wounded three times. Survivors are one brother George, Appleton; one sister, Anna Culligan, Casco. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Schommer Funeral home with the Rev. F. C. Reuter in charge. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery, the Oney Johnston post of the American Legion holding services at the grave. The body will be at the funeral home from Sunday afternoon to the hour of services.
