    Obituary:
Lisa Moreau, 48, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010, with her family by her side. She was born in Green Bay, on Sept. 12, 1961, to the late Rita and Peter VanDenLangenberg. She married the love of her life and her best friend, Mark Moreau on Sept. 28, 1984. They shared 25 very happy years together.
Lisa was a very caring and devoted mother. Her children Jenny and Tony were her pride and joy. Jenny's experiences in the U.S. Navy made Lisa proud, and she was always sharing Jenny's adventures with family and friends. Their special bond kept them close even though at times they were far apart. Tony's talents and hard work ethic made Lisa proud as well. She knew in life he would always strive to do his best. This was evident in the pride and care Tony and Mark took in building the beautiful home that Lisa loved so much. Lisa's family spent many hours relaxing in the back yard by the pond, surrounded by the warmth of a fire. In addition to her family, she loved spending time with her devoted companions, her dogs (Jasper, Brandi, and Chloe). Gardening became a favorite pastime of Lisa's as evident in the beautiful flowers and gardens that surround her home.
For many years, Lisa was employed by the YWCA where she worked in the childcare program and Camp Downtown. She was loved by her co-workers and the many families whose lives she touched through her work. She had a special way with children making each one feel important. Lisa enjoyed doing volunteer work, always ready to help others in need. She especially enjoyed helping at Anna's House where her infectious laugh and caring ways put a smile on the resident's faces.
Lisa and Mark shared a special love for Harleys. Whether riding with Mark, or side by side when she had her own bike, Lisa enjoyed all the trips and adventures they experienced. She loved other travels as well. A recent trip to Mexico with Mark, and a trip to Florida last year with Mark's mother and sisters were fun times that made special memories for her.
Lisa especially enjoyed family gatherings. Playing games, cards, and challenging family and friends on Wii were some of her favorite pastimes. Her nieces and nephews liked spending time with their "favorite aunt" as she took a special interest in each of them. Sneaking them treats also helped her popularity!
Lisa struggled with medical problems on and off many of her adult years, but her love for life kept her going despite the pain and suffering she had to live with. Lisa's family and friends are thankful for the memories and happy times spent with Lisa. She taught us the importance of loving life and always being there for each other.
Lisa will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Moreau; their children, Jenny Moreau (friend, Tremain Strong), Tony Moreau (friend, Candice DeGrand); her sister, Nancy Basten; brother and sister-in-law, Mike (Kim) VanDenLangenberg; sister and brother-in-law, Lori (Mike) Born; mother-in-law, Virginia Moreau; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michelle and Pat Knaus, Rene and Dave Hoffmann, Robyn and Hans Kuhlmann, and Jon and Cathy Moreau. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews on both sides of her family, David and Kelly and their children, Ben, Adam and Julia Basten, Jodi and Mike Boutott, Ann Basten, Chad VanDenLangenberg, Kacie and Kyle and their child, Sophia Wilke, Patrick and Brie and their child, Ruya Knaus, Michael Knaus, Stephanie and Mike and their child, Brock Riha, Bradley and Becky and their child, Elena Dechamps, Jared Dechamps, Ryan Hoffmann, Dietrich, Callan and Mason Kuhlmann and Madison, Emerson, and Alllyson Moreau. In addition she will be missed by her card buddy, Grandma Rose Bouche; friends, Jackie Werchek, Tammy Begley, Sandy Marchant, Grandma Lu, Bill Perko, James Duquaine, and her special little friend, Cameron. Lisa will also be missed by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Rita VanDenLangenberg; her brother Bill VanDenLangenberg; brother-in-law, Ron Basten; father-in-law, Pat Moreau; and other aunts, uncles and grandparents whom she loved so much.
Family and friends may join in a celebration of Lisa's life at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the procession leaves for church. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Friday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street, with Rev. Dave Pleier officiating. Online condolences may be sent to Lisa's family at www.prokowall.com.
Lisa's family would like to thank Father Larry and Sister Helen for their continuous support throughout Lisa's life, and for the support they've offered Lisa's family during difficult times.
In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
Now safe in God's care, Lisa will watch over the family and friends she loved so much.
