    Obituary:
    John C Milhaupt, 92, Appleton, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Brewster Village. He was born in Neenah to the late Edgar A. and Olga C (Linhoff) Milhaupt on June 8, 1923. John graduated from Appleton Senior High School, class of 1941. He attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison and then was drafted into the U.S. Army during WWII from 1943-46. He was an Appleton business man who, with his brother Bing, operated Milhaupt Spring and Auto and Milhaupt Bicycle Mart, retiring in 1981.
    He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Haug) of 69 years; his children: Nicholas Milhaupt, Appleton; Martha (Michael) Behrens, Plover; Mary (Edward) Dragovich, Milwaukee and Charles (JoLee Ellingson) Milhaupt, Appleton; grandchildren: Charles Jr., Sarah and Leslie, children of Charles and Matthew (LeeAnn), Joseph and Jacob Behrens, children of Martha. John is also survived by his loving extended family of nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
    John was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Thomas J. and Edgar Jr. ("Bing").
    A Memorial Service for John will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel with Rev James Leary officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 9 - 11 AM at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Food Pantry or a charity of your choice .
