Obituary:
Erna (Loefer) Huebner passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 21st at Gray's Nursing Home, Platteville, WI.
Erna was born October 17, 1917 to Edwin and Dora (Keller) Loefer at Forest Junction, WI. She was married to Merlin Huebner on June 28, 1940. He preceded her in death.
She was a long time member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and a long time employee of Campbell's store on College Avenue.
Erna is survived by a son, Jerome Huebner and his wife, Dana of Platteville, WI as well as nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda and brother-in-law Leslie Schnell and sister and brother-in law Hilda and Bert Stanelle.
Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:00 a.m. at Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, March 26. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel United Methodist Church. No flowers are necessary.
