    Marie J. Schaefer, 88, of Hilbert, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Atrium Post Acute Care in New Holstein. Marie was born June 29, 1927 in Stockbridge, daughter of the late Vern and Iva (Kiesner) Manderscheid
    Marie married Raymond Frank Schaefer on November 26, 1947 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1983. She was employed for over 29 years at the cheese plant in Hilbert, now known as Fromageries Bel out of Kaukauna. In her free time, Marie enjoyed tending to her beautiful flower gardens, playing cards, and traveling. She was deeply devoted to her family and especially loved time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Survivors include her son, Bob (Jane) Schaefer of Kaukauna; three daughters, Eleanor "Lollie" Weber of Kaukauna, Darlene (Gary) Broehm of Winona, MN, Cindy (Dan) Koffarnus of Hilbert; twelve grandchildren, Kayla (Randy) Wirtz of Madison, Rob (Beth) Schaefer of Kaukauna, Nicki (Brian) Kerrigan of Little Chute, Val Weber (fiance, Jason Wallace) of Sherwood, John Weber of Menasha, Jodi Weber of Milwaukee, Amy (Ben) Allen of Rochester, MN, Nate (Heather) Broehm of Marion, South Dakota, Tyler (Michelle) Broehm of Los Angeles, California, Ross (Ashley) Koffarnus of Omro, Nick Koffarnus (special friend, Jerica) of Darboy, and Taylor (special friend, Jerid) of Kaukauna; twelve great-grandchildren, Alex, Max, Christian, Ella, Norah, Carah, Kaitlyn, Carson, Ella, Harper, Nora, and Vivian; a sister, Joan (Stanley) Meyer of Hilbert; and many other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents & husband, Raymond, Marie was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Koffarnus and brother and sister in law, Dave (Ila) Manderscheid.
    Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (N369 Military Road) in Sherwood with the Rev. Michael Betley officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 11:00am to 12:45pm on Monday.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in the name of Marie J. Schaefer.
    Marie's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Post Acute Care in New Holstein and Century Ridge in Chilton for all the love and care that was shown to both Marie, and her family.

    Manderscheid, David John "Dave"David John "Dave" Manderscheid, 71, of Brillion, passed away Monday, Septe mber 26, 2005 surrounded by his loving family after a short but courageo us battle with cancer. He was born August 8, 1934 in Appleton, the s on of the late Vern and Iva (Kiesner) Manderscheid. David married Ila M ae Hopfensperger on August 8, 1952 in Chilton. She preceded him in dea th on October 20, 1993. He enjoyed spending time with family and loved the ir family gatherings. Dave was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, W oodville. He also enjoyed farming and his trucking business.David is survived by four children: Carmen (Glenn) Brandenburg and their c hildren: Brett (Lisa Vanderloop) Brandenburg and Angela (Jeremy Grenzer) B randenburg, David Jr. "Butch" (fiance Jen Terrey) Manderscheid and his dau ghter, Taylor, Donna (Vince) Nettekoven and their children: Jeremy (Beth V atland) Nettekoven and Ashley (best friend Kim Godfroy) Nettekoven, Gary ( Julie Drinkwine) Manderscheid and their son, Michael, his special great-gr andson, Tyler Branenburg, sisters: Marie Schaefer and Joan (Stanley) Meye r, sisters-in-law: Gloria (Harold) Lauer, Phyllis (Gene) Blank and Lois Wo lf. He is further survived by many special nieces and nephews, other relat ives and friends.The Christian Funeral for David will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Septe mber 29, 2005 at ST. JOHN EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, N9125 Military Rd., Woodvil le with Rev. Paul Fanning officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery, Brothe rtown. Visitation will be at the Fargo Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 - 8 p .m. and Thursday at the Church from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flower s, a memorial fund has been established.A special thanks to the Kaukauna Rescue Squad, St. Elizabeth's Emergency R oom staff and Oncology Unit.
