    Biography:
    FREDERICK W. HUTH, who is the proprietor of the Seymour Creamery, one of the large business enterprises of Seymour, Wisconsin, was born in Germany, September 28, 1875, and is the son of Helmuth and Wilhelmina (Rohda) Huth, who came from the Fatherland to the United States in 1884, settling first in Illinois, but soon removing to Troy, Wisconsin. Mr. and Mrs. Huth, who still survive and are living on a farm near Troy, have been the parents of the following children: Frederick W.; August, who is a resident of Troy Center; William, whose home is in Detroit, Michigan; Carl, who is employed by his brother Frederick W.; Rosa, who married Floyd Dunham of Eagle, Wisconsin; and Frank, who still makes his home with his parents. The first three named of these children were born in the old country and the others in the United States.
    Frederick W. Huth secured his early educational training in the schools of his native country, and this was supplemented by attendance at school after coming to America. At the age of twenty years he went to work on his own account, entering the employ of the Troy Creamery, with which he was connected for ten years and nine months, and he then went to Elkhorn, Wisconsin, where for four years he worked for the Grove Creamery. In 1909 he decided to go into business for himself, and purchased the Seymour Creamery, which was then known as the Otto Sons Creamery, which had a last annual output of $97,000. Under Mr. Huth's management, during 1910, the output of the creamery was 720,000 pounds of butter, or nearly three times the amount of the former output. Mr. Huth is sole proprietor of this large business, which is growing steadily and fast becoming one of the leading creameries of the State.
    In 1895, Mr. Huth was married to Luella Swoboda, who is a native of Wisconsin, and they have had five children, namely: Forrest, Esther, Alvin, Gerald and Claud, of whom Gerald died when two years of age. Mr. Huth is interested in the growth and development of this section of the State and has always supported movements which have for their object advancement along industrial lines, but he has never allowed his name to be put forward in the way of public preferment, preferring to give. his time and attention to his large business interests.

    Gerald E. Baehler, age 81, of Seymour died Sunday evening, December 9, 2012. He was born March 7, 1931 son of the late Hugo and Esther (Huth) Baehler.
    On June 16, 1956 he married Marlene Goerl in the Town of Cicero.
    Gerald farmed in the Town of Seymour for many years. He worked for Tesch Brothers from 1979 until his retirement. He was on the Town of Seymour Fire Department for 30 years and a supervisor for 20 years for the township.
    He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church where he served on the council, ushered and served on many committees.
    He is survived by his wife Marlene; his children: Steve (Judy) Baehler, Seymour; Debbie (Jim) Cherney, Green Bay; Donna (Bill) Oberhardt, Chicago; Cheryl (Tom) Losinski, Stevens Point; Glen (Tracey) Baehler, Farmington, MN; Patricia Baehler, St. Paul; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law: James Braun, Seymour and Gerald Goerl, De Pere; sisters-in-law: Myrene "Sis" Goerl, Seymour and Charlene Goerl, Appleton.
    Gerald was preceded in death by a brother Robert and a sister Janice Braun.

    Janice L. Braun, 72, Seymour, passed away Good Friday, March 21, 2008, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 21, 1936, daughter of the late Hugo and Esther (Huth) Baehler. On Nov. 24, 1956, she was united in marriage to James Braun at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. Janice graduated from Seymour High School and attended UW-Stevens Point. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was Seymour's Centennial Queen in 1968, and was employed at Seymour Schools and later Chilton Toys until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially following her grandchildren's school activities. She was active in numerous church activities, especially Hi-League, and was a member of the Red Hatters. She really enjoyed her time spent with the weekly swim group, her coffee friends, traveling and camping with family and friends.
    Survivors include her husband, James; children, Jeffrey (Karen) Braun, Tomahawk; Jonathan (Jodi) Braun, Seymour; Julie Braun, Seymour; Joseph (Barbara) Braun, Pulaski; her cat, Buttons; grandchildren, Kelly (James) Johnson, Andrew and Benjamin Braun, Jacklyn and Kathlyn Braun; step-grandchildren, Heath (Jennifer) Kelly, Jacob (Jaime) Kelly, Sarah (Mitchell) Grossman; step- great-grandchildren, Samantha and McKenna Grossman, Josephine and Jasmine Kelly. Also surviving one brother, Gerald (Marlene) Baehler, Seymour; and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert (Agnes) Baehler.
    Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, March 24, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating.     Obituary:
    Christopher Terence DuFrane, Age 25, of Hortonville, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on December 26, 1988 in Appleton, son of Terence and Christine (Murphy) DuFrane who survive him. He is also survived by his siblings: Mike (Jillian) DuFrane; Alyson DuFrane and her fiance Dustin Schroeder; maternal grandmother: Mary Lou Murphy; paternal grandparents: Roger and Barb DuFrane; a nephew and niece: Jordy DuFrane and Reese DuFrane. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mike Murphy, and uncle, Pat Van Alstine.
    The Funeral Mass for Christopher will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville with Rev. Msgr. Jim Feely and Parish Director Greg Layton officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A visitation for Christopher will be held directly at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.
    The family would like to thank the numerous people who were involved in Christopher's life over the years who gave wonderful care to him. We greatly appreciate all you have done.
    Chrissy, You are such a wo derful gift to our family. You taught us how to love and made us all better people. You will be greatly missed.
