    Obituary:
    Hugo J. Baehler Woodside Nursing Home, Green Bay Formerly of Seymour Age 75, passed away Sunday evening in a Green Bay hospital following a short illness. He was born on September 16, 1899 in Hartford, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Jacob and Lazetta Baehler. He moved to the Seymour area at the age of 6 and farmed at Route 2 Seymour until his retirement in 1956. On June 2,1926 he united in marriage to Esther Huth in Seymour. He had held the position as supervisor for 8 years and chairman for 9 years for the Township of Seymour and served on the County Board at that time. He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and a Charter Member of the Lutheran Brotherhood. Surviving are his wife, Esther at the Woodside Nursing Home in Green Bay; two sons, Robert and Gerald both of Seymour; a daughter, Mrs. James (Janice) Braun of Seymour; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Miss Janice Lillian Baehler, Mrs. Chris (Viola) Roepcke both of Seymour, Mrs. Norman (Hilda) Kindler Kettering of Ohio. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour with Rev. Phil Paulson officiating. Bur- ial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the Muehl Funeral Home on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

    Gerald E. Baehler, age 81, of Seymour died Sunday evening, December 9, 2012. He was born March 7, 1931 son of the late Hugo and Esther (Huth) Baehler.
    On June 16, 1956 he married Marlene Goerl in the Town of Cicero.
    Gerald farmed in the Town of Seymour for many years. He worked for Tesch Brothers from 1979 until his retirement. He was on the Town of Seymour Fire Department for 30 years and a supervisor for 20 years for the township.
    He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church where he served on the council, ushered and served on many committees.
    He is survived by his wife Marlene; his children: Steve (Judy) Baehler, Seymour; Debbie (Jim) Cherney, Green Bay; Donna (Bill) Oberhardt, Chicago; Cheryl (Tom) Losinski, Stevens Point; Glen (Tracey) Baehler, Farmington, MN; Patricia Baehler, St. Paul; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law: James Braun, Seymour and Gerald Goerl, De Pere; sisters-in-law: Myrene "Sis" Goerl, Seymour and Charlene Goerl, Appleton.
    Gerald was preceded in death by a brother Robert and a sister Janice Braun.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour Friday, December 14, 2012 from 4-8 PM and on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating.     Janice L. Braun, 72, Seymour, passed away Good Friday, March 21, 2008, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 21, 1936, daughter of the late Hugo and Esther (Huth) Baehler. On Nov. 24, 1956, she was united in marriage to James Braun at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. Janice graduated from Seymour High School and attended UW-Stevens Point. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was Seymour's Centennial Queen in 1968, and was employed at Seymour Schools and later Chilton Toys until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially following her grandchildren's school activities. She was active in numerous church activities, especially Hi-League, and was a member of the Red Hatters. She really enjoyed her time spent with the weekly swim group, her coffee friends, traveling and camping with family and friends.
    Survivors include her husband, James; children, Jeffrey (Karen) Braun, Tomahawk; Jonathan (Jodi) Braun, Seymour; Julie Braun, Seymour; Joseph (Barbara) Braun, Pulaski; her cat, Buttons; grandchildren, Kelly (James) Johnson, Andrew and Benjamin Braun, Jacklyn and Kathlyn Braun; step-grandchildren, Heath (Jennifer) Kelly, Jacob (Jaime) Kelly, Sarah (Mitchell) Grossman; step- great-grandchildren, Samantha and McKenna Grossman, Josephine and Jasmine Kelly. Also surviving one brother, Gerald (Marlene) Baehler, Seymour; and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert (Agnes) Baehler.
    Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, March 24, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating.
