    Obituary:
Lois Mae (Mrs. Leslie) Rosera, age 86, of Appleton, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Lois was born March 13, 1921, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Edgar and Mabel (Junge) Sieth. She was a lifelong resident of Appleton and a graduate of Appleton High School Class of 1939. On December 8, 1941, Lois was united in marriage to Leslie Rosera, sharing 44 years together before his death on January 4, 1986. Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Raising five boys was a challenge she loved. Many fond childhood memories were created during those early years including the large amounts of food Lois would have to prepare in order to keep her boys happy. Enough to feed "Coxie's Army" she would say and of course, the story of her legendary road trip into the hospital. After raising the children, her cooking skills led to a job at FVTC in the Culinary Arts Department. A job she was proud of and kept for many years, until her retirement in December of 1992. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. Her face would light up whenever she was with them. Lois also enjoyed playing the piano, counted cross stitch, and knitting. She knitted many baby bonnets for the hospital. Lois was member of First English Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
She will be deeply missed by her sons: Allen (Mary), John (Sue), Tom, James (Jean), and Joe (Betty); grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Christa (Tim) Bartel and son Garrett, Heidi (Tim) Gaberell and daughter Sadie, John Rosera and children Courtnee, John T. and Ben, Amy (Doug) Sloat and children Derek and Evan, Adam Rosera, Dana (Jim) Ponce and daughter Isabelle, Caleb (Angela) Rosera, Joshua Rosera, Jessica Ellenbecker and her children Madison and Preston, Jacci (Jeff) Nickel and son Cameron, Jo Ellen (Shane) Moody and children Jonathon and Josie, Tina (Bryan) Wiese and Jason Rahmlow; sister Jean (Emmet) Erdmann; brother Harlan (Mary) Sieth; sister-in-law Lucille Loquai.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents Mabel and Edgar Sieth, husband Leslie, mother-in-law and father-in-law Stephen and Miranda Rosera and a brother Kenneth Sieth.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 14, at First English Lutheran Church, corner of Drew and North Sts Appleton, with Rev. David Lyle officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday, until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Home.
