    Obituary:
    Darboy - Bernice E. Jackels, age 91, of Darboy, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the St. Paul Home. She was born on September 28, 1926, daughter of the late Robert and Eva (Balthazor) Seif.
    Bernice was a wonderful cook and baker. She enjoyed fishing and volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul in Kaukauna. Many wonderful memories were made up at the cottage with family and friends. Bernice was always up for a trip to the casino or a good card game. Time spent with her family was the most important to her.
    Bernice is survived by her children: Linda (Florian) Van Handel, Bob (Lee Ann) Jackels, Mary Kay Lester, Joe (Lisa Sturgis) Jackels, Pam (Gerald) Sturm and Tony (Beth) Jackels; a daughter-in-law, Karen Jackels; grandchildren: Michele (Steve), Rob (Sandy), Rob (Shellee), Adam, Erica (Georgel), Jon (Sally), Mike (Katie), Gina (James), Troy (Kimberly), Tonia (Buzz), Craig (Brian), Joey (Joanna), Hannah (Daniel), Nikole (Tom), Nick (Courtney), Josh (Alyssa), Tyler (Chelsey), Shannon (Derek), and Kristin (Jon); 35 special great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Sister M. Cyrilla; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many A.A. friends.
    Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Louis M. Jackels; a son, Bill Jackels; granddaughters, Tracy Van Handel; son-in-law, Dan Lester; a longtime friend, Betty Jansen; and many members of Louis' family.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 410 Wallace Street, Combined Locks, with Fr. Andy Kysely officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. For online condolences, please visit www.verkuilenfh.com.

    Dorothy M. Gorges, age 90, of Kimberly, formerly of Black Creek passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, April 2, 2014 at Florida Hospital, Sebring, FL surrounded by her family.
    She was born May 22, 1923 daughter of the late Wilmer and Angeline (Seif) Schulz.
    On August 16, 1941, she was united in marriage to Gordon F. Gorges. He preceded her in death January 26, 1997.
    Dorothy along with her husband Gordon operated a large dairy farm for most of their lives. The two retired and began spending their winters in Florida and summers in Wisconsin. Dorothy was very active in church, community and social activities. She very much enjoyed her winters in Florida and summers in Wisconsin.
    She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks, WI and St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid, FL.
    Dorothy is survived by her eight children: Gene (Jo) Gorges, Aurora, IL; Sharri (Marvin) Hintz, Seymour; James (Peggy) Gorges, Black Creek; Richard (Marion) Gorges, Appleton; Dennis (Peri) Gorges, Appleton; Julie (Richard) Jacobsen, Neenah; Duane (Carrie) Gorges, Seymour; Todd Gorges, Black Creek; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; she is also survived by a sister, Joyce Freundorfer, Jackson, WI.

    Obituary:
    Terry A. "Farmer" Hintz, age 42, passed away early Thursday morning, August 26, 2010, due to a farm accident.
    He was born March 28, 1968, son of Marvin and Sharri (Gorges) Hintz. On August 29, 1992, he was united in marriage to Julie Kropp. Terry was a 1986 graduate of Seymour High School and was employed with Boldt Construction and farmed on the family farm. Terry was a member of St. Sebastian's Catholic Church in Isaar. He was a loving father who taught Derek a lot about sports. He was a likeable and caring man who was a hard worker and had many friends. He was not only a son but a real buddy. He enjoyed farming and combining was his favorite.
    Survivors include his wife, Julie, Seymour; children: McKenzie and Derek, both at home; parents, Marvin and Sharri Hintz, Seymour; sisters: Debbie Mleziva, Green Bay; Michelle (Doug) Tennant, Seymour; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gary and Doris Kropp, Seymour; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jodi and Jim Soltvedt, Seymour; aunts and uncles: Shirley Wunderlich, Hortonville; Gene (Jo) Gorges, Aurora, IL; Jim (Peggy) Gorges, Black Creek; Rick (Marion) Gorges, Appleton; Dennis (Perri) Gorges, Appleton; Julie (Dick) Jacobson, Neenah; Duane (Carrie) Gorges, Seymour; Todd Gorges, Black Creek; nieces and nephews: Brooke, Morgan, Carly, Gavin, Kaden, Zac and Nathan.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2010, and Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Father Bob Kabat officiating. Burial in St. John's Cemetery, Seymour. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com.
    Special thank you to the Volunteer Fire Departments, neighbors, friends and relatives and anyone that helped in any way.
    A memorial fund had been established for his children's scholarships and also for the Foundation for Fighting Blindness.
