    Haen, Katherine “Kathy” Kathy Haen, 53, Sturgeon Bay, passed away with her family at her side on J uly 28, 2005, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was bo rn on April 14, 1952, in Sturgeon Bay to Frank and Blanche (Braun) Honol d. Kathy had worked for Milwaukee Shoe, Doerr Electric, and Quietwoods Cam pground. She enjoyed working with others and touched many lives througho ut her life. On July 22, 1978, she married John Haen in Sturgeon Bay. Survivors include her husband, three children, Scott (Special Friend, Tam my Zimmer) Farley, Algoma; Nichole (Richard) Yedica, Green Bay; Carrie (Sp ecial Friend, Taylor Goettelman) Haen, three grandchildren, Serreah, Alexa ndrea, and Austin, her father, Frank Honold, Sturgeon Bay; three sisters a nd one brother, Marlene (LeRoy) Hofmeister, Marion, MI; Carol Taylor, Auro ra, CO; Eileen (Donald) Soukup, Sturgeon Bay; and Roger (Betty) Honold, N ew Franken; her father and mother-in-law, Hubert and Luella Haen, Sturge on Bay; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Carol (Ken) Schultz, David (D enise) Haen, Sally Lau, Polly (Bob) Westfall, Gary (Janice) Haen, Mary Ja ne (Paul) Fisher, Linda Steshetz, Jim Haen, Gordy (Gail) Haen, and Joan (B ill) Roderick. She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, and a brother-in-la w, Donald. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Peters Lutheran Church in St urgeon Bay with the Rev. Larry Zessin officiating, burial will be in St. J oseph Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday at the Forbes Funeral Home in S turgeon Bay from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Monday from noon until t he time of service. Devotions will be conducted at 8 p.m. on Sunday at t he funeral home. Memorials may be given to Door Cancer Inc. in her memory.
