    Verne F. Lehman, age 87, Dale, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Verne was born on July 14, 1926, in Kenosha son of the late Adolph and Marie (Kersten) Lehman. On June 21, 1952, he was united in marriage to Marie Leslie in Marion. He farmed in the Town of DuPont until the age of 29. He then worked at Kimberly-Clark Lakeview Mill from 1955 until his retirement in 1989.
    Verne is survived by his wife Marie "Annie"; daughter, Debra (Craig) Francois, Hortonville; sons: Larry Lehman, Neenah; John (Vicky) Lehman, Neenah; Robert (Darcie) Lehman, New London; a brother, Vilas (Linda) Lehman, Arbor Vitae; a sister, Ruby Niemuth, Marion; sister-in-law, Edna Lehman, Appleton. He is further survived by eight-grandchildren: Angela Francois, Bridget (Scott) Spencer, Michele Francois, Nicole (Eugene) Schultz, Amber Francois, Jayme Lehman, Jeremy Lehman and Devon Lehman; two-great-grandchildren Phoenix Francois and Xyza Spencer, also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Verne is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Eugene and Reinhardt (Geraldine) Lehman, a sister Eileen Sether and brother in-laws, Hollis Sether and Harold Niemuth
    Funeral services for Verne will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Shephard of the River Church at St. Joseph Residence Chapel, (107 E Beckert Rd) New London with Rev. David Kohls officiating. Burial will be in the Roseland Cemetery, Marion. Visitation will be held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and also at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
