    Arthur Pennings, Sr. 20 Park Ave., Little Chute Age 66, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Sunday after a short illness. He was born April 25, 1897 n Phlox, Wis. He was a past commander of the Jacob Coppus Post, American Legion, Litle Chute and served as Athletic Director of the Legion; a past member of the Village Board, Little Chute; a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters; the Holy Name Society of St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute; The Golden Agers; a retired member and also a 25 year member of the Kimberly-Clark Corp. Mr. Pennings is survived by his wife, Rose; five daugh- ters, Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Jansen, Mrs. Jacob (Ethel) Niese, Mrs. William (Margaret) Zornow and Mrs. Eugene (Clara) Dercks, all of Little Chute ; Miss Rosemary, at home; two sons, Joseph, Combined Locks; Arthur, Jr., Little Chute; six brothers, William, Julius, Wilbert and John, all of Little Chute; Albert, Rt. 1, KauKauna; Ben, Kaukauna; one sister, Mrs. Blanche Strick, Little Chute; 22 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Little Chute. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute after 2 p.m. Monday. Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Military services will be held after Mass at the church.

    Mildred H. (Pennings) Jansen, 89, Little Chute, passed away on Friday, the 10th of December, 2010. She was born Oct. 28, 1921, the daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (Hermsen) Pennings. Millie graduated from St. John High School in 1939. She married Robert J. Jansen on May 1, 1943, in Santa Rosa, Calif., where he was stationed for a tour of duty during World War II.
    Millie was employed at various places and retired from Jack's Pizza. She was a lifetime member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute, and was a real "prayer warrior", considering it her purpose in life, praying every day for each person in need. Millie also had been a member the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258 Ladies Auxiliary, Fox Valley Golf Club, various bowling leagues, Girl Scout leader, Den mother and a parent volunteer for school activities.
    Millie loved spending time with family, shaking dice, playing cards, going up north to the cottages, watching the Packers and listening to the Brewers games on the radio.
    Survived by her children and their spouses, Dennis (Judi) Jansen, Vicki (Bruce) Hammen, Mary (Ron) Vosters, Carol (Kerry) Seiltz and Lori (Kevin) Kons; 16 grandchildren, Michelle (Mark) Stuyvenberg, Chris (Debbie) Jansen, Bobbi (Scott) LaBorde, Adam (Laura) and Phil (Jenna) Hammen, Leah (Dylan) Hilbert, Sarah (Mark) Vander Linden, Bill (Sue), Luke (Heather) and Rod (friend, Angela) Vosters, Mark (Kate), Gregg (Mary Jo) and Kelly Seiltz, Robert (friend, Melissa), Kayla and Ross Kons; 19 great-grandchildren, Jessica, Katelyn, Luke, Erin, Amanda, Brittany, Ella, Mason, Sam, Saryn, Ashton, Veronica, Ashlyn, Justin, Josie, Amelia, Cooper, Taylor and Owen; brother, Joe (Cassie) Pennings; sisters, Rosemary Pennings, Ethel Niesz, Margaret Zornow and Clara Dercks; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Pennings and Grace Jansen; and many nieces, nephews, godchildren, neighbors and friends.

    Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St., Little Chute) beginning at 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. The Rev. Lawrence Canavera will officiate. Committal St. John Cemetery.

    Ethel A. Niesz, Little Chute, age 91, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in Little Chute on March 1, 1923 to the late Arthur and Rose (Hermsen) Pennings. Ethel married Jacob Niesz on September 17, 1949 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1972.
    Ethel retired from Little Chute Pharmacy. She was a member of Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258 Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She loved spending time with her family, knitting her famous baby sweaters, playing cards, baking, listening to Daniel O'Donnell, and faithfully praying her rosary.
    Ethel is survived by her daughters: Sandra (Ron) Diedrick, Kaukauna; Patricia (Warren) Hacker, Sherwood; Linda (Mark Stromme) Rasmussen, Little Chute; and Julie (Bill Schider) Picard, Menasha; grandchildren: Gina (Steve) O'Brien, Mike (Nicole) Diedrick, Greg (Valerie), Lisa (Scott Schefe), and Dan (Jodi) Hacker, Katie (Isaac) Broyld, Maggie Rasmussen, Matt (Alexandria Hietpas) and Josh (Jessica) Meyerhofer, and Kevin Lotzer; great grandchildren: Dylan, Jonah and Halle O'Brien, Stella and Ace Diedrick, Pierson, Lane and Haydin Hacker, Olivia Broyld, Blake, Brayden, Chase and Charlotte Meyerhofer; siblings: Rosemary Pennings, Clare Dercks, and Joe (Cassie) Pennings; sisters / brothers-in-law: Marilyn Pennings, Joe Niesz, Rosie Niesz, and Jack Rogers.     Little Chute - Rosemary A. Pennings, age 93, formerly of Little Chute, passed away March 22, 2018, at St. Paul Elder Services. She was born in Little Chute on February 8, 1925, daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (Hermsen) Pennings. She was a lifelong member of St. John Parish.
    Rosemary graduated from St. John High School in 1943 and immediately began her 12 year career with Eagle Mfg. She spent the following 30+ years in the paper industry for Pennsart Chemical Corp., J.M. Huber Corp. and retired from International Paper in June of 1986.
    Rosemary was like a second mom to all of her siblings' families and was the person everyone relied on. She was always there to help in good times and in bad. She enjoyed her Sunday get-togethers with her sisters as they cheered on the Packers, always hoping she would win the pool. After the death of her parents, she carried on the annual Christmas party for 46 years. She was the "glue" that kept the family together and because of her, we are a very close knit family.

    Margaret A Zornow passed into eternal life on January 13, 2014 surrounded by her family, following a short stay at the American Grand Assisted Living facility. She was born January 30, 1927 to the late Arthur and Rose (Hermsen) Pennings. On December 2, 1950 she married the late William F. Zornow at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, who preceded her in death on January 9, 1999 after 49 years of marriage.
    Margaret had a strong regard for her family, nurturing her seven children as well as a strong spiritual life. She was lifelong member of St. John's Church and sang in the Resurrection Choir until her illness limited her singing abilities. She found great pleasure in spending time each and every Sunday afternoon with her sisters gathering at the family homestead for lunch. Margaret loved dancing with her husband, singing in church, bowling and playing cards.
    Margaret is survived by 3 daughters and 4 sons: Becky (Mark) Siebers, Sherwood; Barbara (Charlie) Hopfensperger, Kaukauna; Bonnie (Tim) Vanderloop, Sherwood; Tim (Dawn) Zornow, Beaver Dam; Terry "TZ" (Shari), Little Chute; Todd (Madonna), Town of Quinney; and Ted (special friend Mary Sanderfoot), Little Chute; a very special daughter in-law Cindy Zornow, Combined Locks; grandchildren: Ryan (Heather) Siebers, Jon (special friend Olivia) Hopfensperger, Ben (Tricia) and Sara (fiancé Ed Gordon) Vanderloop, Chelsea (Ken) Mayer, Jake (fiancé Kala Schlegel) Zornow, Taylor and Molly Jo (special friend Sam) Zornow, Michael (special friend Megan) Wojciehowski, Oliver (Rebecca) Zornow and Mary's Children (Ashley, Anthony and Alexis); and great grandchildren: Jorden and Hunter Siebers, Bella, Bryan and Talia Vanderloop, Raya Gordon and Kennedy Mayer.     James Arthur Dercks, age 60 died peacefully Sunday, November 24, 2013 after a short illness. Jim was born on February 14, 1953 in Little Chute, Wisconsin, son of Eugene and Clare Dercks. Jim married the love of his life, Rochelle Yngcong, on April 11, 1998 at a civil ceremony in Green Bay, Wisconsin and a Catholic mass of celebration in Roxas City, Philippines in January 1999. Jim was a member of St John's Parish.
    Jim began his high school years at St Lawrence Seminary and graduated from St John High School in 1971. He served two years in the US Army in Bamberg, Germany as a medic. After completion of his service to his country Jim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oshkosh. He worked at the Kimberly Mill for 27 years. He was the financial secretary of the mill union. Jim was instrumental in the efforts to keep the mill open. Upon the mill closing he returned to school and earned his master's degree as a licensed advanced social worker specializing in substance and domestic violence abuse. At the time of his death he was employed by Attic Correctional as a domestic violence group facilitator. Jim's volunteer work was very important to him. Most recently he was a volunteer for the Offender Program for Outagamie County. Jim was an avid reader and traveler.
    Jim is survived by his wife, Rochelle, and their two Maltese dogs, Sammy and Goliath. He is further survived by his mom, Clare; his brother Steve (Dori) Dercks and their children, Nick, Mike (Katie) and Charlie Dercks; sister Paula (Tom) Zielinski and their children, Dave (Katie) Schommer, Tara (Christopher) DePrey, Brad (Angie) Zielinski and Michael Zielinski; brother Dan (Amy) Dercks and their daughters, Emily (fiance Adam ) and Katie (fiance Rob); and sister Beth (John) Straw and their children Christopher and Kevin Johnson and Joel and Tatum Straw. He is also survived by a very special Aunt Rosemary Pennings. He was preceded in death by his dad, Eugene, in March of 1998; and his loyal dog Chancey.
    Jim had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by his family and all of the people whose lives he touched.
    Funeral services for Jim will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine Street, Little Chute, WI). Friends and family may call at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Mass. Military rites conducted by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258 will immediately follow.     John Joseph Rohr, age 25, of Darboy, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, September 15, 2016. John was born on November 5, 1990, son of John C. and Valerie (Pennings) Rohr. He was a graduate of Kimberly High School and was an accomplished bowler at a very young age. John enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially bow hunting with his dad. He loved being an uncle to his two nieces and John was a great dad. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
    In addition to his parents, John is survived by his loving son, Johnny "J.J." Rohr; his sister, Amber (Ryan) Searer; his nieces, Aubree and Aliyah; his grandparents, Emmi "Oma" Rohr, Margaret Pennings, and Joe (Cassie) Pennings; his girlfriend, Kiley Croattes; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, other family members and friends.
    John was preceded in death by his grandpa, Charles A. "Opa" Rohr.
    Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. Interment will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy.
