Obituary:
Richard L. Feavel, age 72, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Veterans Home in King. He was born to the late Ledgard and Josephine (Ebben) Feavel on July 31, 1942. Dick attended William and Mary College. He enlisted in the Navy, and served his country during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Dick served the city of Appleton as an Alderman of the 17th ward, was a Chief Ranger of the Forester Organization and worked at Pranges in shipping and receiving.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Dave) Godin and his grandchildren Briana and Ian. Dick is further survived by his brothers and sister; Rochelle (Gerry) Altenhofen, Thomas (Margaret Bekkers) Feavel, Douglas (Barbara) Feavel and Robert Feavel, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Antonette A. Feavel.
A memorial service for Richard will be held at 6:00PM, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton with Rev. Jim Lucas officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00PM until the time of service. Military honors will follow the service.
