    Driessen, Robert E.680 Elder berry LaneKaukaunaAge 89, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 13, 200 3. Bob was born in Kaukauna on May 1, 1914, son of the late Edward and Lu cy (King) Driessen. On September 1, 1941, he married the former Marian Coe nen in Little Chute; she survives. As a young man, the local newspapers pr oclaimed him "The Wizard of the Saw." As the years, passed, the title beca me very accurate, for until his final day was known by all as a talented a nd creative woodworker. For many years, Bob was employed at Giddings and L ewis, and retired as the inspection department supervisor. He was employ ed there for a total for forty-five years. Bob was a gifted wood-worker, a nd shared his talents with many over the years. Many will remember the cou ntless hours he donated to the St. Paul Manor, helping to build staircase s, countertops, and picture frames there. In 1966, he began constructi on on the family summer home on White Potato Lake. In 1976, he retired a nd made the cottage his full-time home. There he continued with his woodwo rking and made a variety of items for his home, yard, and family members a nd friends. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his beloved grandchildr en and great-grandchildren. Some of them have inherited his woodworking ab ilities!Bob is survived by his wife of sixty-two years: Marian Driessen of Kaukaun a; three children: Karen Geyso of Kaukauna; Robert F. (Bonnie) Driess en of Kaukauna; Rick (Betty) Driessen of Kaukauna; nine grandchildren: Er ic (Jenny) Geyso, Alison (Dave) Spencer, Abbie Geyso, Todd (Nicole) Driess en, Craig Driessen, Robin Driessen, Darin (Michelle) Driessen, Traci Dries sen; five great-grandchildren: Dylan Driessen, Chase Driessen, Taylor Geys o, Caden Lambie, and Kiefer Lambie; a brother: Leo (Fran) Driessen of Kauk auna; two sisters-in-law: Marion Driessen of Oshkosh and Ann Driessen of K aukauna; a brother-in-law: Jule Schommer of Wausau. Bob is further surviv ed by Marian's sisters: Rose Kavanaugh of Little Chute and Lea (Bob) Stadl er of Kelly Lake; and her sister-in-law: Orpha Coenen of Little Chut e; as well as by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Bob w as preceded in death by his parents, his adopted son Daryl Driessen, siste rs Lozelle Schommer and Margaret (Tip) Reetz; his twin brother Norbert Dri essen, brothers Everett (Julia) Driessen, Floyd Driessen, and Quintin (Hel en) Driessen; a son-in-law Bill Geyso; brothers-in-law Andrew Coenen and R ichard (Delores) Coenen; and a sister-in-law: Esther (Joe) Kuborn.The funeral liturgy for Bob will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 1 7, 2003 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna wi th Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemeter y. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 - 3: 00 PM and again Monday at the church from 10 AM until the hour of the serv ice. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bob's na me for the building fund at Holy Cross Church.

    Robert F. Driessen, Kaukauna, age 71, died at his home Thursday, March 10, 2016. He was born in Kaukauna on September 18, 1944 to the late Robert and Marian (Coenen) Driessen. Robert married Bonnie Steffens at Holy Cross Parish on May 1, 1965. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2010. Bob owned and operated American Auto Transmission until his retirement in 2014. Bob was the president of Venture Touring Society (VTS) and was a member of the Valley Vettes. Together, he and Bonnie loved to ride around in their Corvette. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
    Bob is survived by his sons: Todd (Nicole) and Craig (Heidi), both of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Dylan, Chase and Saylor; sister: Karen Geyso; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Betty Driessen, Marlene (Jim) Kilsdonk, Sharon Huss, Gary (Berne) Steffens, Linda Waters and Marc (Lee Ann) Steffens. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and especially his Valley Vette friends.
    In addition to his parents and wife Bonnie, Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Vince and Lucy (Van Domelen) Steffens; brothers: Rick and Daryl Driessen; and brothers-in-law: Bill Geyso and Lee Steffens.
    Visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral at 6:00 p.m. Deacon Vincent De Groot will officiate. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery. To sign the guest book, please visit oconnellfh.com.

    Richard "Rick" Driessen, 68, Kaukauna passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2014 with his family at his side. Rick was born on February 24, 1946 to Robert and Marian (Coenen) Driessen. He was a 1964 graduate of Kaukauna High School. On April 6, 1968 he married the former Elizabeth "Betty" Van Dyke and they enjoyed over 46 years together. Rick was employed as a Senior Process Piping Designer, working for many years with S.J. Baisch and most recently with M.S.B. Corporation. He retired from M.S.B. Corporation in 2010. In his younger days, Rick was very close to his father, who passed his love of woodworking to Rick. He was a very loving and concerned husband who always put his family before himself. He was also a very proud father and grandfather. Time with his family and trips to Mexico with Betty were always cherished. Rick was a very sensitive man with a very big heart. He would do anything to help anyone, especially his friends and family. He was a very strong man and was very passionate about the things he loved. He enjoyed working with his hands, remodeling his home, landscaping and gardening. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and drives in the country. He was a fan of all Wisconsin sports. He loved the Badgers, Brewers, and especially the Packers.
    Rick is survived by his wife, Betty; his children: Robin (Scott) Driessen Bruecker and their son, Jake; Darin (Michelle) Driessen and their children: Megan and Kenzi; Traci (Brandon) Powell and their son, Brayden; his sister: Karen Geyso and brother: Robert Driessen, Jr.; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marian Driessen, a brother: Daryl Driessen; a sister-in-law: Bonnie Driessen, and a brother-in-law: Bill Geyso.
    The funeral liturgy will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 at Holy Cross Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. The family will greet family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at church on Saturday. Burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
