    Obituary:
    Roger L. St. Aubin, 78, Kaukauna, passed away March 15, 2007. He was born July 4, 1928, to the late Theodore and Julia (Gauthier) St.Aubin in Little Chute, where he was a resident most of his life. As a teenager, Roger was very active in the Boy Scouts where he and his brother, Bill were the first two Little Chute boys to earn the Eagle Scout award. As a young man, Roger continued his dedication to the Boy Scouts, serving both as a Sea Scout Leader and Scout Master. Roger is remembered fondly by many former scouts for the wonderful canoe trips he led through the Canadian wilderness, and for his work at Gardner Dam, Boy Scout Camp.
    Roger graduated from Kaukauna High School (Class of '46) where he was very active as the school photographer, taking many of the year book photos. Shortly after graduation, Roger enlisted in the US Navy where he served at the Naval Air Stations on Saipan and Guam during the draw down of World War II. Afterwards he attended photography school in New York and for a short time thereafter operated a photography studio in Oconto Falls. Roger began a carpentry apprenticeship in 1949, and joined his brothers in the family construction business in Little Chute until his retirement.
    On Aug. 30, 1950, Roger and Rosemary were wed at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukauna, and made their home in Little Chute; there they raised their family of five children. Throughout his life Roger had many hobbies and was passionate about nature, gardening, beekeeping, photography, hunting, fishing, woodworking, science, and greatly enjoyed spending time with his family at their cabin Up North.
    Roger is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosemary (Meinert) St. Aubin, Kaukauna, five children, Louis St. Aubin, Kaukauna; Laurie St. Aubin (Eric), Perth, Australia; Jessica J Iowa; Lee St. Aubin (Lynn), Kaukauna; and Joel St. Aubin (Shannon) Anchorage, Alaska; three grandsons, Eli, Kyle and Ben; two granddaughters, Beth and Emma; a brother, William St. Aubin; a sister, Frances Ganley; three sisters-in-law, Jean St. Aubin, Aura Meinert, and Georgie Meinert; and brother-in-law, Jerome Meinert; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
    Roger is preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Ferdinand and Beatrice Meinert; his sister, Constance Hopfensperger; his brother, Robert St. Aubin; his sisters-in-law, Virginia St. Aubin and Collette Wolf Vargo; brothers-in-law, Melvin Hopfensperger, Dr. Kenneth Meinert, and John Ganley; and a very dear and special cousin, Patrick St. Aubin.
    The funeral liturgy for Roger will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2007, at St. John's Catholic Church, Little Chute, with Father David Funk, O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, March 22. at 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
    A memorial fund is being established.
    Funeral arrangements are being coordinated by Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute.
    The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation and thanks to the dedicated staff at the St. Paul Home for their compassionate care and support they have given to Roger and his family, with a special thank you to Dr. Gustafson, Mary Deli, and Sister Dorothy.
