See Image William A. Green, Kaukauna Age 85, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2001, at St. Paul Home in Kauka una, following a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was bo rn on June 13, 1915, in Kaukauna, the son of the late John and Dora (Verha sselt) Green. Bill married the former Loraine Meulemans; she preceded h im in death in 1998. Bill owned and operated his own farm until 1977. Besi des farming, he enjoyed playing cards, fishing and gardening. He also work ed for the Colonial House until 1993. He was a member of St. Nicholas Cath olic Church, Freedom. He is survived by his two sons, Roger (Karen) of Lit tle Chute; Norman (Sandy) of Freedom; a daughter, Charlotte (Patrick) Scho mmer of Little Chute; ten grandchildren, Jeff (Sarah), Rick (Pam), Jay (Ja ne) Green, Missy (Mark) Leurquin, Scott Green, Michael and Chris McNele y, Michael (Kathy), Mark (Jennifer) and David Schommer; seven great-grandc hildren; two brothers, Robert of Kaukauna; John (Germaine) of Freedom; fi ve sisters, Florence Schmidt of Hollandtown; Rosella Kortz of Little Chut e; Frances (Harry) Moudry of New London; Esther (James) Van Vreede of Kauk auna; Verna Berken of Little Chute; Eleanor (Bernard) Bowers of Wrightstow n; and two sisters-in-law, Harriet Green of Freedom and Elaine Gre en of De Pere. Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Norbert and Vin ce Green, a sister, Charlotte Green and four brothers-in-law, Leo Schmid t, Leo Weiland, Orin Kortz and Jerry Berken. The funeral liturgy wi ll be at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2001, at ST. NICHOLAS CATHOLIC CH URCH, Freedom, the Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating. Interment will be in t he parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday fr om 2 p.m. until the time of mass. Memorials directed to the Alzheimer's Fo undation would be appreciated. The family would also like to extend a spec ial thanks to Dr. Brian Scott, especially the nurses and staff on Poppy Pa th and to all who knew and loved their dad from St. Paul Home.

Obituary:
Roger W. Green, age 74, Freedom, died peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Atrium Care Center, Little Chute. He was born Jan. 6, 1943 in Freedom, WI.
On September 11, 1965, Roger married Karen VanHandel in Appleton. The couple enjoyed 39 years together prior to her death on April 21, 2004. Roger had worked for Weyers Equipment in Kaukauna until health issues forced his retirement. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, watching old movies on television and camping with friends.
Roger is survived by 1 daughter Melissa "Missy" (Bill) Vine, Darboy;
3 sons, Jeff (Sara), Rick (Pam) all of Freedom and Jay, Kaukauna; 10 grandchildren: Tyler, Kayla, and Megan Leurquin, Justin and Keira Green, Mariah and Zach Green, Jacob, Joshua, and Jebediah Green; special friend Barbara Zubke, Watertown; 1 brother and sister-in-law Norman (Sandy) Green, Freedom, 1 sister and brother-in-law Charlotte (Pat) Schommer, Little Chute; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Karen, and his parents, William and Lorraine (Meulemans) Green.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday November 27, 2017, at St. John Catholic Church, 323 Pine St., Little Chute with Fr. Ronald Belitz officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call directly at the church from 11:00 am until the time of service.
