    Notes:

    Obituary:
James "Jim" deCoster, August 29, 1948-August 11, 2008. Jim was called by the Lord after a valiant 10 year battle with cancer. Through it all, he never complained. He held his head high and kept pushing forward. Jim graduated from New Holstein High School in 1966. After graduation, he attended MATC in Milwaukee for architecture. He worked for a couple of architecture firms in the Sheboygan area and later became a mechanical designer for Hayssen Manufacturing in Sheboygan and for Curt G. Joa, Inc. in Sheboygan Falls. During a remission from his cancer, he decided to go back to school. He graduated Summa cum Laude in May 2001 from Fox Valley Technical College with a degree in marketing. Jim had two great passions: cars and cooking. There always seemed to be a car show on TV and something brewing in the kitchen. He also enjoyed chauffeuring for Stardust Executive Limousine.
Jim is survived by his wife of 22 years, Christine; his parents: Bud and Red deCoster; and by his brother: Jef (Sharon) deCoster, all of New Holstein. Jim is further survived by his father and mother-in-law: Chick and Beulah Hawig; his sister-in-law: Jeanne (Jim) Lillich; and brother-in-law: Joey Hawig.
Jim was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Douglas.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at St. John UCC in New Holstein with the Rev. James Werner officiating. A memorial fund has been established in the name of James "Jim" deCoster.
Words cannot express how much he will be missed. Many thanks go to the doctors and nurses of Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin for their help and support through the years.
