Obituary:
Delores Margaret Rydberg, age 87, of Menasha, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. She was born on January 19, 1920, the daughter of the late John and Alma (Quandt) Westphal. Delores married Einor "Ray" Rydberg on February 24, 1945. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, crafts and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Delores was young at heart. She worked at Choice Beverage for many years, specializing in catering, and was a life-long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Neenah.
Delores is survived by her husband, Ray, a son, Larry (Judi) Rydberg, a daughter, Susanne (James) Zinth, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four sisters-in-law: Doris Kirkpatrick, Violet (Alan) Stark, Edna Westfahl and Alice Westfahl.
Delores was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryce, three sisters and three brothers, Vera, Mildred, Viola, Everett, Clarence and Lester.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2007, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Neenah. Burial will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.

Donna M. Boelter, age 68, of West Bloomfield, WI, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center, after a short, yet courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 13, 1941, in Neenah, WI, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Viola (Westfahl) Borchert. On August 19, 1961, Donna married Harold Boelter at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fremont. Together they lived and raised their family in West Bloomfield. Harold preceded her in death on September 20, 2006. Donna dearly missed her husband and was looking forward to being reunited with him in Heaven. Donna was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield, and she served on many various committees. Her belief in God and her church were very important to her. Her faith kept her strong and sustained her during her illness. Donna was also involved with Home Interiors for over twenty years and enjoyed socializing with people. She had a great sense of humor and a loving caring heart that will live on forever in the lives of those who knew her. She was a very selfless person, always putting others first. Donna's favorite thing to do was to have get-togethers with the family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. During the last few years, she enjoyed going to Arizona, to spend time with her twin sister, Diane and her husband. She also enjoyed decorating, gardening, shopping and being with her dog, Missy.
Donna is survived by her children, Christine (Ron) Kurkowski, Menasha, Dawn (Scott) Seward, Pine River, and Troy (Jody) Boelter, Appleton; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Briana and Justin Kurkowski, Karly and Jamie Seward, and Samara and Gavin Boelter; a brother, Roger (May) Borchert, Aitken, MN; three sisters, her twin sister, Diane (Elroy) Boelter, New Richland, MN; Darlene Tobey (Fiance, Syvert Berg), New Richland, MN and Debbie (Steve) Massey, Sauk Centre, MN; a brother-in-law, Arlyn (Ruth) Boelter, Appleton; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Richard Tobey.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 7, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield. Rev. Karl Wellnitz will officiate. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont, on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for Christ Lutheran Church.
