Obituary:
Ethel Sadie Beiersdorf, 101, formerly of Bonduel, died Monday, April 9, 2007, in Shawano. Born September 10, 1905, in Pella, she was the daughter of the late William and Augusta (Rades) Born. On October 11, 1924, she married Lester Louis Beiersdorf. The couple moved to the Town of Hartland where they farmed for the next 77 years. Lester preceded her in death on November 20, 2001.
Survivors include a daughter, Crystal (Roy) Genke, Hortonville; two sons: Merrill (Charlotte) Beyersdorf, Bonduel; Gene (Mary) Beyersdorf, Pulaski; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, a great-great-great-grandchild; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Born, Gillett; and many nieces and nephews.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; a grandson, James Genke; her parents; and four brothers and sisters.
Services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church, Bonduel, with Rev. Philip Geiger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel, Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and at church Thursday after 10 a.m. until the time of services.
