    Jean E. Sutherland, age 62, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at the Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington. The former Jean Ellen Jensen was born on February 21, 1945, in Appleton, WI, daughter of the late Melvin and Ruth Traas Jensen. On June 18, 1966, in Appleton, she was united in marriage to Ned C. Sutherland. They lived in Humble, TX, before moving to Lake Geneva three years ago. She formerly worked as a retail clerk for Sears and in the Children's Dept. at Macy's in Humble, TX. She was a member of Anchor Covenant Church in Lake Geneva. She was active in church activities. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, antiquing, sewing, cooking and baking.
    Jean is survived by her husband, Ned; a daughter, Beth (Alex) Hutson, Elkhorn, WI; two grandchildren: Connor and Madeline; two sisters: Judy (Sam) Elliot, Stevensville, WI; Jo (Vern) Bellile, Hortonville, WI.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Tyler Jon.
    Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay, with Pastors Ryan Eikenbary-Barber and Karen Hinz officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Sutherland Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home, 800 Park Dr., Lake Geneva, WI, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Covenant Harbor, 1724 Main St., Lake Geneva, WI 53147, would be appreciated.
